Remember: the most valuable thing you can give someone is your time… and sometimes that someone is you. ✨

Travel has a way of slowing life down long enough for you to breathe again. To think clearly. To rest. To reconnect with yourself outside of the stress, routines, and responsibilities waiting at home.

Sometimes self-care looks like a passport. Sometimes it’s just a quiet weekend getaway. Either way, taking time for yourself is never wasted time. 🌎💛

If you're seeing this, you need a maycation…

When life feels heavy… the job, the kids, the marriage, your health, or just the weight of everyday responsibilities… sometimes the best thing you can do for yourself is to get away for a moment.

A trip doesn’t have to mean flying across the world. Sometimes healing looks like a quiet beach a couple towns over, a cabin in the woods, or a weekend with no schedule at all.

Travel has a way of helping you breathe again, clearing your mind, and allowing you to reconnect with yourself. Sometimes a change of scenery is exactly what the soul needs. 🌎✨

Beach days are calling 🌊☀️ There’s just something about salty air, warm sand, and ocean views that resets your soul.
What’s your favorite beach you’ve ever been to? 🏝️

After several years in the travel industry, these are 5 tips I see all over social media… and honestly, they’re just bad advice 👇

❌1. “Book flights on a Tuesday—it’s cheaper.”
That hasn’t been true for probably a decade. Prices change constantly based on demand, time of day, route, and even your search behavior.
✅Instead, use Google Flights, turn on price tracking, and use the calendar view to spot the cheapest dates.

❌2. “Avoid touristy places.”
Skipping touristy places can mean missing some of the most iconic experiences.
✅The key isn’t avoidance—it’s timing. Travel during the off-season or shoulder season for a better experience without the crowds.

❌3. “Always book directly with the hotel.”
Booking direct can be better than sites like Expedia or Travelocity—but it’s not always the best rate.
✅ Wholesale rates are often lower. At the very least, compare options so you know you’re actually getting the best deal.

❌4. “Book last minute for the best deal.”
This used to work—but not anymore. Most of the time, you’ll have fewer options and pay more.
✅Prices go up as demand increases, especially for popular destinations. You don’t need to book a year out, but give yourself a few months to plan and compare.

❌5. “Pack for just in case.”
Overpacking leads to extra weight, extra costs, and unnecessary stress.
✅ Pack light and versatile. Most places have laundry, and if you forget something—you can buy it. (Let’s be honest… you’re going to shop anyway.)

Bottom line:
Good travel isn’t about following viral tips—it’s about making smarter decisions.

Yes, indeed! 🤣

The goal isn’t to just dream about it—it’s to live it. Go make the memories you’ve been putting off. ✈️🌍

Travel just hits different.
It’s not about ticking boxes—it’s about getting out of your routine and seeing life from a new angle.
You come back with photos, sure… but more than that, you come back with perspective.

Hot tip: The best travel hack isn't a hack at all. It's just access. 🔑

People spend hours watching YouTube videos about travel hacks. Incognito mode searches (debunked). VPN tricks (mostly myth).

Reward credit card churning (exhausting).

Here's what actually works: getting access to the same wholesale rates that the big booking engines get — and having them passed directly to you instead of marked up.

That's it. That's the whole thing.

No incognito tab needed. No 47-step credit card strategy. Just wholesale pricing on hotels, resorts, condos, cruises, and flights — available to anyone with a HappiTravel membership.

Most members save more on their first booking than the membership costs for the entire year.

If you've never looked into wholesale travel, April is a great time to start. Summer is coming and so are the price increases.

Visit my link in bio or DM me to see what wholesale actually looks like for a trip on your list.
