So, though the controversy has somewhat abated I must admit that:

I got the robot to make this.

First because it's kind of on brand.

Second because I will fuss with fliers ad nauseum and it eats a ton of time (the woes of having a great appreciation for visual art but no real skill or $ to bring it into existence).

Third so I could judge how cool ChatGPT is. The verdict (based on this example) ChatGPT is about as cool as somebody's dad who tries to use current slang as though it's not a thing. Low mid cool. Fine for internet ephemera but like 🤷

My apologies to low mid cool graphic artists for robbing you of the 25 bux I might have been able to pay you to do something similar. ACTUALLY, if anybody out there in the meatspace willing to make fliers based on like a $50 a month subscription type model (with like some kind of max number with a pro rate afterward or something) DM me. I prob got hella work for you.

Sunday! Sunday! Sunday! I'm doing a show at Big Bar!!!!

I'm stoked for this as I haven't really had an opportunity to do a quasi-experimental/improvisational gig in a long time. The key prompt is "Personhood." I'm not 100% sure what will happen. There will be bleeps, there will be bloops, there will be extensive samples, Paul stretches, boom baps AND this will all be punctuated with discrete songs from my new record "Machine Living in Relief." Like I said, I don't really know what will happen BUT if you're looking for a cool/weird time this Memorial Day weekend you should probably attend.
