Teaching pregnant yoginis…

As a prenatal/postnatal yoga teacher (and teacher trainer) I would always say: get educated! Most of us have no idea what actually happens in a woman's body during pregnancy and postpartum.

It isn't just about creating space for her bump. It's about her hormonal changes and how it affects her joints, ligaments, muscles (including the smooth) and her pelvis specifically. That is why there are specific trainings in pre and postnatal yoga!

It’s WHY you would or wouldn’t do certain poses or why you would modify with the individual person.

It a never-ending journey of observation, research, training…

I did my first pttc in 2008. Before that, I did courses in massage and aromatherapy for pregnancy and postpartum. Since I have never stopped learning. I have done several other trainings in prenatal yoga, in pelvic floor health, doula training and feminine health.

Learning and researching are important but the practical even more. Teaching pregnant yoginis as everybody is unique and every pregnancy is unique. And perhaps most of all YOU. For more than 7 years I have been sharing this knowledge as a teacher trainer. And it is continuously evolving as you ask questions and form the trainings.

I am looking forward to sharing this ever-evolving pregnancy yoga course with you in Worthing in February and March. The early bird investment expires 10th of January.
