And just like that the international break is done and dusted. 😮💨
Another testing team we face against Southampton, who have caused many teams dangerous problems with the individual qualities that are within their squad. How will Leeds cope and will the Whites be able to do damage on the Saints themselves?

Following meetings with consultants earlier this week, we can confirm Patrick Bamford has ruptured his plantar fascia, which is an injury to the sole of the foot. On a positive note, Patrick will not require surgery.
Whilst the recovery time for every athlete is different, it is expected that Patrick will be on the side-lines for a minimum of six weeks.

Alan Shearer has picked Jesse Marsch as manager of the week alongside top performances from Kristopher Klaesson and Luke Ayling as his Premier League team of the week.
WELL DONE TO ALL INVOLVED ALONGSIDE THE PLAYERS IN THE WIN AWAY AT MOLINEUX.
#MOT #LUFC
Good evening Leeds fans🤩
Another challenging prospect away at Molineux tomorrow. Leeds will want to build some momentum going into the international break to put pressure on the teams around us.
Wolves are a team that have a lot of quality and defensively haven’t given much away all season.
The key is not to go behind especially against a well organised team like Wolves, with them being so structurally solid and have a fantastic shape along with quick counter presses within their squad.
How will Leeds fair against Wolves tomorrow?

Huge three points today. Hearts and voices through the roof in more ways than one. A game which had just about everything a Leeds supporter has witnessed through the entirety of being a Leeds fan.
Relief for Jesse Marsch and the team. A must needed win executed. Resilience and character in this group has always been there and when the tough got going the players stepped up to the test.
Onto the next one now!

Score predictions for tomorrow?
It’s a must win. Anything less and we leave ourselves extremely vulnerable to a Premier League exit despite teams below us not in fine fettle.
Both Leeds and Norwich have lost their last six league games so nobody goes into this game with any type of momentum.
The last time Leeds lost six consecutive league games in the Premier League was in February 2004 where the Whites went on to get relegated.😬
Leave your score predictions below LUFC supporters.

Is this the man to maintain Leeds United’s Premier League status? A lot of positives to take despite the disappointing outcome on Saturday.
#MOT #LUFC
Leicester City take the points. Much clearer and fresher look. Roberts injury made things look pedestrian with him unable to move. Made it more difficult him staying on.
Disappointing result wise but performance wise much better. Points are more worthy than performances at this stage though!

Jesse Marsch:-
“If you have big goals, you have to talk about them, work towards them everyday. You have to believe you can achieve those things.”

I think it’s an important moment to welcome Jesse Marsch to Leeds United.
A really hard transition for any manager to come in after what has been a really successful and very positive three and a half years with the last regime.
His interviews and positivity surrounding him taking on the Leeds United job in such difficult circumstances is very good indeed. He seems calm and collective. It’s so crucial he takes on the challenge and hits the ground running. Jesse is a real motivator and no matter which club he’s been at, it’s driven through his teams and replicated with top performance levels.
Twelve games to go and each game offers different obstacles, although we must believe in his process. We understand supporters have found it difficult over the past few days but we can be proud of the achievements we have made in a short period of time. Let’s use this to our advantage. The new manager affect and new ideas will be so key to maintaining our Premier League status.
Let’s back Jesse and keep backing the boys.
Trust the process.

Hello Marcelo/Hola Marcelo,
I would personally like to thank you for the three and a half years we have endured together. So many special moments to pick and probably in fact too many to chose from. You have instilled a belief and passion into our club that was seemingly in disarray before you joined. You reignited everyone and built bridges to allow us to grow as a football club in such a short period of time.
I find it difficult to write this as you have been my favourite manager in my lifetime of being a Leeds United supporter and being a season ticket holder for 10 years, it was certainly refreshing to watch your brand of football on a consistent basis week after week with a smile on my face which was hard to come by being at Elland Road prior to your arrival.
Everyone had different opinions in how to get to where we wanted but we all had a vision that was the same and a togetherness that was never broken through thick and thin.
Not only did you bring an Argentine spice on the pitch but you did off it too. Taking time to have pictures with Leeds supporters, getting the Leeds team to pick litter up for the same amount of time it took the average Leeds fan to earn a ticket are just the few things that made you a human being like nobody else, representing our institution of a football club which is why top managers and players as well as fans hold the highest of opinions of yourself.
This day never felt it would come although I will never forget these years in all my life. When times were tough for myself with clear uncertainty you and your coaching team inspired me to believe and become a half decent human being. I hope you will come back to Elland Road and I would love to meet you one day wherever that may be. I wasn’t one of the fortunate ones to meet you. Google translate might be handy if it ever does happen. The last thing from me is Vamos Leeds Carajo. This journey is ending but the story goes on.
Thanks for everything Marcelo, El Loco.
Yours Sincerely,
Mitchell Burley-Emmerson
