Today is a real day of mixed emotions for our Spratt and Son family as we bid a fond farewell to Phil Heckels who has been with our firm for over 20 years!

Phil has been a valuable colleague and, latterly, Partner in C G Spratt and Son Commercial.

We are very proud of Phil for raising such large amounts of money for amazing causes and turning this opportunity in to a new career. He will continue to have us all crying with laughter with his breathtakingly awful portraits and captions!

Thank you for everything Phil, and we wish you the BEST of luck in your new career as an artist and writer 🤩

You may have recently seen on the National News, in the mainstream newspapers, or even on ITV This Morning the story of a local acclaimed artist capturing peoples pets by drawing them in his unique ‘really rubbish’ style! He operates under the spoof alias ‘Hercule Van Wolfwinkle’ however, here at Spratt and Son we know this very gentleman as Phil Heckels, our Commercial Director! Our office celebrity has done an astounding job setting up a JustGiving page and has raised over £17,000 for a local charity Turning Tides Ending Local Homelessness! Homelessness is such an important issue and team Spratt are overly proud of our Commercial Director for raising such an amount for an amazing charity and continuing to have us all crying with laughter with his breathtakingly awful portraits and captions! We’ve teamed up with our friends at Pinnacle UK and are delighted to offer the opportunity of supplying full matchday Nike kits and Drill Tops to a local Under 7’s football team. We’re passionate about our town and our local communities and this a small way of giving something back.

If you either run a local team, have a child playing for one, or just know of a team looking for a sponsor and new top of the range matchday kit, we’d love to hear from you.

Spratt and Son’s Commercial Director, Phil Heckels, said ‘’We’ve decided to offer our support to an Under 7’s team because we know that is the age group when a lot of teams are just starting out and that’s usually when you need the most assistance. Coaches, managers and various other volunteers put in an enormous amount of work to run these clubs at grass roots level and I hope that we can give them one less thing to have to organise!’’
