Assist Care Group Sussex

Assist Care Group Sussex

Really Proud to work for this company
I worked for Sussex district carers for nearly 17 years,It was very stressful at times but that's all part of being a caring carer. I also had them looking after my gradmother and they provided the best team of carers I could have asked for.

Being a carer is one of the most rewarding jobs you can do and if you have a passion for really caring and looking after people you should give it a go.

They provide all the training you need to start so you don't need experience and you can take the job as far as you want to with their support

The company is run by a really lovely family who are very caring and very professional they have a great manager and support team and you are never alone, there is always someone there for support and back up in any situation.

If anyone Is looking to start in this profession I would highly recommend working for District carers as the time I had working there was the most rewarding.
I miss you all

I would just like to say an enormous thank you to all the staff at Sussex District carers for their kindness and support. You all do a wonderful job. I like the fact that you are all professional yet approachable too, you have made my time at home in between hospital admissions much more manageable & improved my quality of life greatly.
People are very quick to complain but not so fast to praise but I believe in giving credit where it's thank you all.

Pay carers allowance at minimum wage of £7.20 per hour NOT £62.10 per week...

Full time carers can not work due to looking after sick, venerable people. They work long hours for £62.10 a upped the minimum wage to £7.20 and you should be paying full time carers this amount is money due to lack of care staff in the NHS...we work long hours and never have a day off!!!

Full time carers are the hardest working people you will meet. We are on call 24hrs a day 365 days a year....The government think it's OK that us carers work for 49pence an hour as the NHS are overloaded... I think we as full time carers should be getting at least the minimum wage of £7.20 not £62.10 a week.. We can not get a job as we already have one looking after vulnerable people we love. We didn't ask for them to be ill, sick or dying but we care for them because the government doesn't care
