Each product takes at least 18 months to develop, with extensive testing stages undertaken by Electric founder @markwoolley1, the Electric Art Team, and a group of session hairdressers and platform artists around the world.

To all our clients, it is only 2 weeks until we open on the 12th April, pending confirmation from Boris and his team. We will be contacting all our clients over the next 10 days to rearrange appointments. The salon will reopen using the current social distancing guidelines, we will continue to run our revised opening times until the restrictions are lifted.

Sadly Sarah Jones has had to leave the shh... team she will be missed greatly. We would like to wish her the best of luck in the future and thank her for all her hard work over the years. We will of course try to accommodate her clientele as best as we can under these already difficult circumstances.

“Long lasting volume” - That was the simple goal we had when we started to formulate °C-5 Volume Liquid Mist.

Leaving no hint of residue, C-5 is the ultimate professional tool for creating long-lasting volume support.

Most volume sprays work by coating the hair heavily at the roots with oil-based silicones, which harden under heat and stiffen the hair. However, the Volume Liquid Mist uses a unique formulation featuring lipidium and Pro Vitamin 5, which penetrates the hair to naturally swell the cortex to twice its normal thickness. Thank you to everyone who phoned us on the opening day of our appointment re-booking week. It’s been a very challenging but rewarding day - good to speak to so many of our loyal customers! We so appreciate your patience and understanding, as we try to rebook all the missed appointments.

It’s now only a week until we open. This time next week, we will be galloping toward the finishing line of our first business day in more than three months.

We have had a hugely busy day manning the phone, as well as a working our way through a stack of over 300 email requests. Please be patient, we are trying to make space to see everyone as soon as we can.

We are taking a well earned rest tomorrow (Sunday), but will reopen our phone line on Monday at 10am to speak to you in person.

Importantly, we have information here about our new Covid 19 guidelines, that we hope you will read before you come to the salon. All the do’s and don’ts of salon life, that we (and our customers) need to abide by from here on.

Hello again, again!
Another few days passed and, thankfully a confirmed date for opening. We are relieved to say that we will be opening the salon on Saturday 4th July 2020.

AGAIN, please be patient with us for a few days longer until we finally open our phone line for bookings.
DO NOT CALL OR MESSAGE US YET as we are not ready to fill up our new appointment book!

Please continue to watch this page (like and follow our page for notifications) and we will post an announcement here, the moment we are able to man the reception desk and begin the booking process. We have three months of appointments for all our loyal customers to rearrange.

It is important to note that, when we finally reopen, we can only operate with a maximum of three stylists and up to five customers in our salon at any one time. This has reduced the number of appointments we can find for our clients each week, despite extended opening hours and an extra working day.

PLEASE BE PATIENT - we will announce when the phones are open within the next few days.

Meanwhile, the news for today is the launch of our new website.

There is a lot of new information there, which will tell you about our new business hours (open six days a week, with five late night opening evenings each week). There are details of our new price list and the all important ‘stylists timetable’ - giving you clear guide to the days and hours your favourite stylist will be working from now on. We have had to reduce some of the services that we will be offering at this time. Please check (when bookings eventually open), to make sure that we can accommodate the creative ideas you might have envisaged, will fit into our stylist’s allotted hours.

We are working through the new government guidelines and will publish our new operating procedures for the salon as soon as we can. Our priority is to keep you, our clients and our staff safe during these challenging times.

We have a new email address for you to contact us regarding bookings on [email protected] and you can register your interest in an appointment there immediately. We will go through those emails, at the same time as we deal with phone requests.

UPDATE for clarification. Please email us even if you believe you have an appointment that you booked back in the spring for July onwards. All of our appointment books and the creative teams timetables have altered to cope with the current situation. Please contact us at [email protected].
