My client hadn’t had her hair coloured in almost a year so we couldn’t wait to freshen it all up and bring her hair back to life! 💕

My client first came to me with un even black box dye hair with build up and wanted to go back blonde. She has been fabulous with using olaplex on her hair and not expecting over night results.
We started off by using a colour remover and then over the months have been able to gradually take her lighter whilst preserving her hair condition. It’s taken time but we are getting there 💕

Good morning!

Dare I say it but December is fast approaching and I have already had lots of bookings for Christmas so would urge anyone who has not pre booked and will want to get hair or nails done to book in to secure your appointment.
Also for my evening clients I would advise you to book in advance for your evenings for November too as my evenings are also getting booked quickly and I hate not being able to give you the days or times you like!

Covid update :

Just a quick update, as your aware from July 19th restrictions changed so I wanted to let you know what I will be doing at Polished Hair & Nail Cabin.

Before Covid I wore gloves and a face mask for all nail clients due to dust from filing… This will continue, but I will no longer be wearing a face mask whilst doing hair. This is my personal choice and I have really struggled in this heat and wearing a mask whilst blow drying.

Pre Covid I always cleaned my nail desk, and equipment between each client and will continue to do so, that should be done with or without covid.
I will also continue to keep nail files for individual clients, named and sealed after sterilisation.
Towels and gowns for hair will as always be washed after use.

I am still going to continue to offer bottled water as refreshments at the moment, I will review this in the autumn , but as you do any ways, your welcome to bring a coffee with you.

And finally, I know that by speaking to my clients during appointments that there is real mixed feelings on face masks and I just wanted to let you know that I want you to feel comfortable when you come.
You are free to come with or without a mask, and will of coarse not be judged by what ever choice you make.

My priority is to create a relaxed and comfortable environment for you, As you know the cabin is your space during your appointment.

But hopefully this goes without saying, but if you show any symptoms or feel unwell please contact me to re arrange appointments.

Good Morning!

Schools are back!!!!... so with that in mind I am now in the position to start taking bookings for the proposed opening date of 12th April.

I have a priority list of people who have already asked for appointments so I’ll be in touch today to get these booked in.

12th April is in the Easter holidays so I have decided i will be working evenings only for nails the first week back. From the 19th April once the schools have gone back again I will then be back to normal hours and I will be starting to do hair again.

I hope you had a fabulous Christmas.. not the ending to the year we were all hoping for I know 🤦🏼‍♀️

So as I’m sure you’re well aware that we are in Tier 4 still and don’t have an end date as of yet. It’s believed the next update will be the 13th, so all appointments up until that date will of coarse be cancelled. We can then take it from there...

I’ve decided I will now start re booking appointments for December 3rd onwards even though there’s uncertainty and so much speculation over if we will actually be able to return open then. I know I’ve had a lot of messages asking for re booking so I will dust the diary off and get started so please pop me a message if you haven’t already done so and I will happily book you in x

From today it is mandatory to have a QR code displayed. It isn’t compulsory for clients to use, but must be displayed and offered. I have my track and trace system in place already and the guidelines are below for clients to see and choose which they prefer to use.
