Joel came to us with his converted ambulance to camper van after it was vandalised.
◾️
▫️
The vandal destroyed half a panel on the side of the camper, then discarded it in an unknown location. Making the repair even harder. But not too hard that it cannot be done…
◾️

Joel spent a fair amount of time searching online for a replacement panel without any luck, that’s when he came to us to see if it was even possible to repair.
◾️
▫️
The answer to that was a massive YES!
◾️
▫️
The panel had to be removed. We then had to build a tempory mould to replicate the original shape. Do all the fibreglass work. Blend in the new fibreglass work to the old. Then refit the panel. The panel is now ready to go off to the paint shop for a respray!

Our first van lining job in the 💼

Carl from C&C Window Cleaning Services contacted us with continuous problems with their current van lining system, the lining system they were currently using would tear with light use and the water from their tanks would rot the ply lining.
◾️

Carl wanted to trial the fibreglassing lining route on his new company transit. He’s very impressed so far. 😎
◾️
▫️
We added timber lips at the front, and in each doorway with drains at the back of the van to allow the water to escape. We added a none-slip topcoat on the floor which is extremely hard wearing and stops materials from sliding about.

Little roof repair on a caravan today 🚐

Mr Goodchild called complaining of a leak on his caravan. The leak stemmed from a knock that cracked the sealed panel joint. 😞
◾️

After the initial leak He had someone fit this horrible roofing tape as a temporary fix, shortly after, it began leaking again!
◾️
▫️
After today, no more ugly tempory fix, no more leaks and a solid roof joint ✅
◾️
▫️

Mark purchased this sadly to find it was riddled with osmosis. He decided he wanted us to re fibreglass the outside to prevent further spreading.

Last week we had a call from Stig. Stig is massively into sailing his catamaran in competitive races ⛵️

Some of the other racers seem to let their competitive sides get the better of them and cause some nasty crashes resulting in serious damage ❌
▫️

Stig didn’t pick out the colour match perfectly, but that is expected with the boat being over 40 years old 🧓🏼 he was however over the moon with the repair and the fact that he can now get back to sea doing what he loves doing! 🌊 ⛵️

Paul over at @ziggymoto has been busy this after noon after collecting the fibreglass body for his , the fibreglass body fits, the engine fits and and it all aligns just as planned! 🔥

This was a first for us, working with a 3D Printed mould, Paul put the fear into us with issues of fibreglass having previously stuck to the print and ruining over a months worth of hard work. We didn’t have a single part stick 🤓
