Recently renovated stonework on a 16th century cottage in portesham.

A small chimney made safe , watertight and repointed for a customer in Dorchester this week. To say it was needed was an understatement

A job that the total repoints team completed just before Christmas. The results speak for themselves!! over 250 bricks 🧱 replaced and completely re pointed in lime mortar ! 😍

1st is a face brickwork chimney breast that’s going to be exposed in a loft conversion

2nd is a cottage on Portland repointed to keep the elements out ☔️ 🌬 ☀️ finished off with a specialist limestone water repellant!

So pleased at how this recent job has turned out! Replaced a few bricks around the window surrounds and repointed all the stonework. It’s completely transformed the building and most importantly made it water tight!!
