As a special tribute for a gentleman who was known around London many years ago as Pete and his Parrot, his 36 year old cockatoo ‘Chalky’ attended his funeral to say his final goodbye🕊️

Co-op Funeralcare Wigan have introduced a ‘chatty bench’, which aims to help combat loneliness and provide an opportunity for people to discuss life’s challenges. Funeral Director, Stuart Pilkington explained that “the chatty bench is part of our ongoing mission to be a visible, approachable presence in the community and to encourage more open, healthy conversations about death and bereavement.”
