Happy Friday everyone. To send you off into the weekend, we're delighted to share with you the full line-up for Warrington Music Fest's Golden Square stage 🔥

This true celebration of grassroots talent features more than 20 emerging bands and artists who we consider among the cream of the crop when it comes to the town's vibrant music scene.

The much loved Houghton Weavers will be back this Christmas to celebrate keeping folk smiling for an incredible 50 years 🤩

Expect songs, stories and festive fun on this special tour on 12 December as the band weave together folk music, humour, memories and even some audience requests thrown in for good measure! ❤️

📍 Due to the ongoing Pyramid redevelopment project, this concert will take place at Winmarleigh House in Winmarleigh Street.

🏗️ PYRAMID UPDATE 🏗️

We’re thrilled to share that we’ve received additional funding through the Government’s UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) to help us deliver our vision for Pyramid Arts Centre!

Pyramid is currently undergoing a major transformation to make the building more modern, accessible, and fit for the future 👷🚧

As part of these improvements - and our refreshed vision for the Exhibition Hall - we’ve secured almost £120,000 to support the installation of a full technical equipment rig. This builds on our previous grant, which enabled us to invest in essential infrastructure including new lighting, sound/PA systems and safety barriers for our shows.

This latest award is a huge boost and will help us expand the type and scale of performances we can host, bringing even more high-quality arts and cultural experiences to our community.

We’re incredibly grateful for this continued investment, it will make a big difference to the type of performances we can put on in the venue.

The UKSPF aims to improve pride in place and empower communities across the UK.

Warrington's mini artists have done us proud! 🎨

On World Book Day, we teamed up with LiveWire Libraries and the team behind 'There's a Monster in Your Show' to launch a drawing competition.

Youngsters were tasked with creating a friend for Monster - the main character in the show based on Tom Fletcher's book 🐲📖

Thank you to everyone who took part and we're now delighted to reveal the winners who have all been given tickets to the performance which comes to Parr Hall next weekend on April 26 and 27 🤩
