We have been a little quiet regarding our local business promotion recently, but we will ramp it up, especially in light of the current issues that many have suffered during the recent floods on top of the Covid Restrictions.
Our first profile this week is.....
Hair By Pam- mobile hairdresser
Pam is a hugely talented colourist and hairdresser. Having gained her experience working in town centre salons, Pam decided to control her own destiny and set off on her own. Working mobile Pam comes to you in the comfort of your own home. Her care, attention to detail and understanding of colour and hair ensure that you are left feeling fabulous.
We have been using Pam for many years and will continue to do so.
Thank you Pam Green for making us always feel fabulous.
I’m a mobile hairdresser in the Warrington area. Specialising in colouring/cutting/hair up. With 18+ years of experience I can say I have learnt a lot.
First of all I would like to say that I listen to what my client wants, which is key. I can offer my clients advice of hair colour and style, not only what is the current trend, but what is suited to my clients personality, face shape, skin tone. With being a freelance hairdresser I can give myself extra time for appointments, so I'll never need to be in a rush. Always quality over quantity.

Have you been finding you’ve got less hair than you used to?
Ok first don’t worry! This is very common, I see this a lot.
I personally have had this a few times, after giving birth (a few months after) and after a very stressful period in my life.
The first I noticed lots of hair falling out and I knew that this was normal and would grow back.
The second time I noticed my hairline was receding back more than normal and at the side of my head, I had a patch of hair that was very thin!! Freaked me out but then I put two and two together and put it down to stress. (You don’t see the hair loss till months after)
So again I hoped after trying to get my life back to “normal” that it’s grow back but it’s taken a couple of years to.
So that’s my story of hair loss but there’s so many more reasons for it which I’ll list here…
🪷Stress
🪷Age (as we get older we can tend to lose more hair)
🪷Hormones (can be menopause, thyroid)
🪷Dry shampoo (if you use this too much it can clog up your hair follicle son the scalp and it stops oxygen getting to them thus falls out)
🪷Diet (not having riboflavin, biotin, folate and B12 in your diet can cause hair loss- hair vitamins is a good idea) plus not drinking enough water- water makes up 25% of the weight of a single strand of hair!
🪷Smoking-isn’t great for blood circulation
Ok so as you can see it can be many things but if you’re concerned I’d see a doctor and there is a hair specialist called a trichologist.
But we can do things to help as above, stopping smoking, drinking water and better diet.
Also massaging your scalp helps with blood circulation, in turn will help hair grow.
A hair and scalp scrub like our tea tree one is great for helping the scalp to breathe, to cleanse it from dry shampoos and pollution.
A hair scrub also will help give your hair it’s shine back after getting rid of any product or water mineral build up. 🚿
Also use a wide toothed comb, so there’s less tugging on the scalp)

Are you finding your hair is frazzled on the ends?
Ok I see this a lot, if it feels really rough like your hair has been crimped on the ends. This is due to heat damage.
🪷One major cause for this…your straighteners are way too hot!
🪷There are some straighteners (not naming names) that have one heat setting and some peoples hair is too fragile for it.
🪷So you need to get a new pair that has a heat dial on it it keep the temperature lower.
🪷Not everyone needs the higher setting and if it’s making the ends of your hair damaged it’s definitely not doing the job properly.
🪷Or if you’re fighting against curly/wavy hair, why not instead if fighting it. Embrace the curl. You’d be surprised by looking after your hair, the condition and learning about how to care for curly hair that you’d see a new you 🤷♀️
Worth a go, if you do decide then we’ve got a lovely haircare range for that…our Jamaican black castor oil.
Consists of a cleansing conditioner (that’s like a shampoo)
Leave in conditioner
Hair mask
Curl activator
Or if you don’t want to embrace the curls, then you really need a good hair mask, I’d suggest my favourite Shea hair mask and that shampoo too
Also when my hair is wet I add the grapeseed serum to the ends of my hair to give it a shine and to help detangle it.
Hope that’s helped 🤗

Well that’s me done now for Christmas, thank you all so much for being the best clients ever!
Wishing you all a very happy Christmas 🎄

Only three more days for me then Christmas! 🎄 🥳

Hair up for the mother of the bride 👰♀️ ❄️

Hair up for my lovely customer for a Christmas wedding 🎄 ❄️

🍂 Bronde balayage 🍂

A shimmer of rose gold today as a change from blonde highlights 🌹
So excited!!! Thought I’d treat you all to some Cloud Nine goodness. ☁️ ♥️

How would you or your loved feel if you received one of my pamper boxes?
These are jam packed with a different theme each month I let you know what the themes are going to be.
I’ve now taken orders for December but I’m now taking orders for my January boxes.
The theme is everyday makeup which includes all you need for a full look PLUS you’re getting in it two makeup brushes!
I always include a sweet treat too 😉
Would you like to treat someone for after Christmas to look forward to in the grim months of January or treat yourself to one
These are £20 a box and I make sure you get a heck of a lot more products than that price.
Let me know if you’d like me to put you down for January box?
Or if you can’t wait I can still make bespoke gifts/hampers in time for Christmas 🎄

I’m so excited to try this on all you curly haired clients! I’m going to see if I can get some lovely beachy waves after putting this on and using my bamboo hair wrap to let them dry
😂

What a difference a colour melt can make!
We did the usual highlights and roots to cover the “wisdom highlights” then an ashy colour melt to cancel out the brassiness.
Just a heads up to anyone who’s after an appt in the next few weeks. It’s looking like I’m about 90% booked up for Christmas now.

I can do this! 😂

Felt honoured to do my clients first ever highlights, so my client went for an autumnal look with caramel/copper. 🍁 🍂
We’re calling this Pumpkin Spice

🌹 Rose gold 🌹

My customer was after some highlights and some low lights to break up the previous blonde. Also finished with a colour melt to blend in the “wisdom highlights”

I came to the aid of a new customer today who had bleached her own hair and went quite patchy with all sorts of colours.
So I did a bleach wash first to help tone down the pink/peach sections then went in with a colour melt to take it to a champagne 🥂 blonde.
We were both over the moon with the outcome.
It helped with me doing test strands of her hair to see which colour worked well in her hair.
Hope you all like the outcome?

Really enjoyed being challenged to do Korean side bangs!
They’re like an extended version of curtain bangs. So you’ve got some more hair down when you hair is up.
So I did some caramel balayage style highlights with a colour melt. For a natural and low maintenance finish.

I did my ladies hair to go to a wedding, I did loose, curls pinned up. 🥰

Beautifully natural curls, tonged a little to make them separate a bit more.
Getting ready for prom 👗
Hi all I’m getting booked up very quickly for summer. I only have a very few limited appointments left. I’d recommend to book in as early as possible to secure your hair cut/colour.

Cupid Pink 💖
This was done on about 90% grey hair.
I prelightened the hair just slightly to make the pink take better and last longer.
Followed with a Shea hair mask to seal the colour in.

Happy Easter 🐣
Hi everyone just to let you know as from tomorrow, my prices have increased slightly.
For more information just go to the tab “services” or message me to find out exactly how much your hair service will be
Thanks Pam x

Got to love a bit of silver/grey tones 🧊
Nope don’t repeat these! 😂

Loving these beautiful autumnal waves 🍂

On fire 🔥 ♥️

Well I’ve done my last client now for Christmas.
I’ve enjoyed seeing you all, especially this month seeing all the decorations!
Wishing you all a very merry Christmas and a happy new year! 🥂 🤶
