We have used Roy Wadsworth for over 20 years. Always pleased with their work until now. You only find out about a company when something goes wrong. We had the full upstairs carpets put down on 17th December 2020 and their best (their words) fitter did the work. Instead of removing a doorstop, he cut out a hole to pass the carpet over it, leaving a hole and frayed edges on show. Obviously not acceptable. Since then I have tried to get someone other than their best (again their words) to come and look at it. Without success. Their answer is to cover the hole with the doorstop, which won't work as it would mean the door banging on the wall. The reason why the doorstop is where it is. Why should I have their best (supposedly) back in when he did this and the previous time he left our house in a mess. Not the room, the house, top to bottom. I would have more respect if someone came and sorted it out, but it looks like they won't.

We have used Roy Wadsworth Carpets 4 or 5 times now for our carpets. New lounge carpet fitted today by Steve, Danny & Ryan. First class job, very neat and tidy. Without being asked Steve took a door off and shaved a bit off the bottom so it didn't catch on carpet. Good on price too and Lisa in shop is very helpful. Highly recommended for quality and service.

Thank you guys a great job done, I know some of the rooms were a bit difficult due to large heavy furniture, but nothing was too much trouble they worked hard were efficient and friendly at all times, I would highly recommend Roy Wadsworth Carpets, and not to forget the great service received from Lisa in arranging the appointment and keeping in touch to let me know what was happening. 5 stars deserved I'd say.
