St Thomas' PFTA is the Parents, Friends & Teachers Association for St Thomas' C E Primary in Stockto We’re here to support our Children and their school.

We raise funds for school projects, organise social events and share helpful hints, tips and info for friends and family of St Thomas’. We look forward to seeing you at our next meeting!

With a week to go until Mothering Sunday, the lovely ladies gift shop is back by popular demand. For £3.50 your child can select a gift from our pop up shop to give to a special lady in their life. Whilst they write their personalised message on a gift label, we will wrap the present. Letters and permission slips will be sent out next week. Please return them with the correct money by Friday 25th March.

We’ve been overwhelmed with the generosity of local businesses who donated to our Christmas raffle. It’s the biggest one we’ve done. From gift vouchers, to hampers, scarves to photoshoots and gel nails, we can’t thank these businesses enough.

Come and see us this Friday after school pick up at our outdoor Christmas Super Shop! You can buy delicious treats, reindeer food, Christmas tree decorations and snap bands, extra raffle tickets and play our new game “name the elf”, where you can win your very own 4ft elf toy! Who wouldn’t want that in their house? 🤣


Year one are top of the bake sale challenge, with a whopping £158.47! Now that’s a lot of cake! 🧁🍰
Reindeer food and pre loved Christmas jumpers raised £55.
If you didn’t get your reindeer food there’s still time; it will be on our Christmas stall on Friday 10th.

Huge thank you to Morrison’s for their very generous donations this week. They have provided us with lots of items including popcorn towards our movie afternoon, marshmallows and sweets for snowmen, and a children’s raffle prize.

We have some fantastic prizes available. Letters and raffle books have been sent home today.

Good morning everyone! Please don’t forget to bring any preloved children’s Christmas jumpers in to school for our upcoming swap shop. We are collecting them today and tomorrow.


Year one are going to be super busy! Not only are they providing treats for the bake sale, but the children are making reindeer food. We will also have a Christmas jumper swap shop. Please dig out your children’s old Christmas jumpers and bring them into school (via year one) by Tuesday 30th November.

Today’s first make the rules day raised an amazing £349.40
Huge thank you for getting involved. There was a great vibe in the playground with a lot of effort made. It was lovely to see the variety of rules that were chosen. Thanks for your continued support 👏


It’s been amazing to hear such positive feedback on our first make the rules day. We hope the children are having a fab day in school. Heard a giant gorilla 🦍 (cuddly toy!) made its way into school which really made me laugh 😂 Will give you a total soon on how much you raised today. Happy Friday folks!


THIS FRIDAY IS MAKE THE RULES DAY!! From crazy hair, wearing your pjs, bringing in a cuddly toy to having juice in your water bottle; we’re sure the kids will have a great time. 50p a rule. Check out the details of what rules they can make below.


It’s our AGM tonight and we are looking forward to seeing lots of faces, both new and old friends. Come and hear what we’ve been up to, elect the new team and have your say in upcoming fundraisers. See you from 7pm in the community room.


Following the success of our last clothes recycling day (we raised £106.40), we are holding another recycling day on Thursday 30th September at school drop off (please do not bring at any other time)

Our first bake sale in a long time!

Year 3 have raised a whopping £96!!! That’s a lot of dough! (Pun intended!)

Thank you to everyone for supporting us today. It was lovely to see you all. And huge thank you to year 3 parents for providing such a yummy selection of cakes and biscuits.

The bar has been set high. Can year 1 beat this in a few weeks time? Keep your eyes peeled for the next instalment of our Great School Bake Off 🧁

Who else is excited for Bake Off returning next week? We certainly are! We do love cake!

Next week also sees the start of “The Great School Bake Off” with year 3 parents providing the goods. So bake a date in your diary and see us after school on Friday 24th September in the main playground.

Welcome back to the last half term before the Summer holidays! (What a scary thought!). We hope you've had a great break.

At the end of last term we sent home Recycle 4 School bags for you to fill with good quality clothes, shoes, trainers, handbags and belts.

By donating your unwanted goods, not only will you clear out your clutter, but you will help raise much need funds for our daily mile running track and outdoor gym win!!

Please bring your bags to the school carpark after drop off tomorrow. The bags are being collected at 9.30am. We can't accept donations earlier/later than this date. Feel free to use bin bags if you need additional bags.

We're extending our Smarties Challenge until Monday so there's still time to take part. Maybe the children could do good deeds over the weekend and earn some money to put into the Smarties tube. This amazing woman has raised £1382 by completing The Manchester to Liverpool Ultra where she ran 50 miles. Huge thank you to Ceri and everyone who has supported her. We are so incredibly grateful.

We would like to say a huge thank you to the amazing Ceri Porter for running 50 miles from Liverpool to Manchester yesterday in 14 hours, 38 minutes and 52 seconds. She has raised a whopping £1325 for our school, bringing us nearer to having our very own daily mile running track and outdoor gym equipment which the children have asked us for. Ceri you are truly inspirational and we are so grateful that you chose us as your charity to fundraise for. And thank you to everyone who has made a donation. Every penny counts.
