I have been receiving treatment from Ruth for the past few months after a back injury led to quite honestly the most severe and constant pain I’ve ever experienced!

Ruth has supported me so much both physically and emotionally through a really difficult time-having literally been unable to dress, walk, sit, sleep and most importantly, be the mum I had been to my little ones without being dosed up on max doses of pain relief.

Fast forward 3 months and I’ve just returned from 2x8 hour flights and walked over 40 miles in 10 days on a holiday I honestly didn’t think at one point I would make! Ruth never once doubted I could do it and thanks to all her support, I did it!

Thank you so much Ruth, you have been truly amazing! #mindandbody

Rheumatoid arthritis is known as an autoimmune disease, because the immune system attacks the tissues of the joints causing pain, stiffness, swelling and loss of function in the joints. Over time, this can damage the joints, cartilage and nearby bone.

Regular physical activity and controlled stretching can also help to increase flexibility for those who suffer with RA. Aerobic exercises such as cycling and swimming will at times lead to reduced joint pain and improvement in stiffness.

[07/17/21]   "Mask wearing and hand sanitising

During the Covid-19 pandemic, Radial Physio has been adhering closely to current Government guidance and regulatory rules for healthcare professionals with everyone's health and safety in mind.

Due to the change of mask wearing rules on 19th July 2021, we would like to highlight that regulations have not changed for healthcare professionals or within the healthcare clinical setting as yet. We are still maintaining high levels of PPE, hand sanitisation and cleaning the rooms in-between each client.

The new variants of Covid-19 circulating are highly contagious and appointments require close proximity. We reserve the right for the protection of our staff and other clients visiting the clinic, to request all clients wear surgical masks and sanitise hands on entering our premises and in face-to-face appointments.

If wearing a mask is not possible, a virtual appointment will be offered instead to ensure you can still receive treatment.

We reserve the right to refuse any treatment if any member of staff receives abuse or antisocial behaviour from clients as a result of being asked to wear a mask."

The Birth & Baby Company

🌟🌟 Exciting news! 🌟🌟

I am very excited to announce the launch of our membership for mums!

The Mummy Membership will be launching in January 2021 and is your space to access support, sensible and up-to-date advice from a range of experts and useful resources to help you navigate pregnancy, birth and early motherhood!

I know that becoming a mummy is an amazing & exciting time! But I also know it can be, well a little terrifying as well!

Often we're given lots of well-meaning, but misinformed advice from lots of different sources and it can be difficult to know which (if any!) to follow!

Here at The Birth & Baby Company we want to make your pregnancy and those first few weeks & months of motherhood as relaxed (and stress-free!) as possible. It's an amazing, life-changing time after all!

Unfortunately, we often no longer have the support of close family and friends around us when we have our babies - we've lost that village support which is so important. Becoming a new parent can be a massively daunting time and we often don't know whether we're doing the right thing when caring for our babies.

The Mummy Membership is your village, your support network, your friend in times of need. We'll be there with all the information & support you need so that you can make decisions & choices that are right for you and your baby.

Join before 24th December 2020 to get our amazing founding members rate!

Poor work stations at home is a cause of this, your sitting posture has a direct impact on your upper body which includes the waist, spine, shoulders, head and the neck.

Avoid slouching and take regular breaks away from the desk to help prevent pain. Stretching away from the desk is a good way to get yourself moving.
