We are closed on 2nd & 3rd June for Queens Platinum Jubilee but we will be open on Saturday 4th from 8am till 4pm.

Here at Andrew James we are following government guidelines & all our barbers and stylists will wear face masks . Please ensure wherever you have your haircut that your barber or stylist is doing the same. This small action could protect you from serious infection.

We are pleased to report that all our stylists & barbers have received their covid vaccination. Hope this reassures all our customers. Also all our employees live locally & are not travelling in from other areas, where infection rates could be higher.

We are waiting to welcome back some of our regular gents since lockdown finished. We can assure you that your safety & the safety of our employees is of paramount importance.
Do not feel nervous as all precautions are being taken & we have now been reopened for eight weeks in complete safety. We are still walk in for gents with socially distanced waiting. Looking forward to seeing everybody soon.

After the initial rush to our barbers after lockdown we are pleased to announce that custom has now returned to normal levels.
Please be assured that we comply with all safety requirements & your wellbeing & that of our staff is our priority.

We are planning to open on Saturday 4th July. Our barbers will be walk in only as we have a large downstairs area which can accommodate social distancing whilst waiting.
The ladies salon will be by appointment only & we will be manning the phones between 2pm & 4pm on Tues 30th June, Wednesday 1st, Thursday 2nd & Friday 3rd July for clients to book in.
We are led to believe that all clients will have to wear a face-mask upon their arrival.
Unfortunately due to the P.P.E. requirements and the reduced numbers of clients we will be allowed to deal with, there will have to be a temporary price increase until we can return to normal service. We apologise for this but hope our clients understand the current position and difficulties.

We have been preparing for our return to work when we are told we are able to reopen. We have obtained many items of PPE so that our clients can feel safe. These include disposable aprons, disposable neoprene gloves, face masks, hand sanitiser, anti viral spray cleaner & infrared thermometer to test for signs of anyone having a temperature.
We hope these measures will reassure everyone that your safety & the safety of our staff is of paramount importance to us. We look forward to seeing you all ASAP, until then please stay safe.

Whilst we have been closed due to Covid 19 we have taken the opportunity to have the salon completely redecorated. So we look forward to eventually welcoming our clients back into a beautifully finished environment.
