With so much happening around us, it’s impossible to not let the surroundings affect us mentally. But, what we can do is control how we impact our own mental health and of those around us.
On World Mental Health Day, let us make a personal commitment to spread kindness. Let us be the one who lights the way, the one who shows others how to shine.
Know that every person you encounter, on Social Media or face to face is carrying the challenges of their own personal journey – an invisible burden whose shape and size you cannot know.
What you say or do might give them some of the strength they need to keep going. The gift of kindness may start as a small ripple that overtime can turn into a tidal wave affecting the lives of many.
Take good care of yourselves and others.
