I did a pre-recorded interview with Martin Lonergan of Warrington Social Hurling yesterday about all things hurling and how you can get involved in the sport, which is played on Westy Park, here in Warrington, on Sundays and Thursdays. The interview is for Radio General and I'll let you all know when it'll be broadcast so you can tune in.

Martin, founder of WSH, knows his stuff about the sport, both past and present, and the interview will be well worth listening to even if you don't like sport. Martin's passion will just draw you right in. He also shared some of his favourite music with me and the reasons why those tracks are important to him and I'll be playing those out as well.

If you have no family connection to Ireland then don't worry because Warrington Social Hurling is inclusive. Moreover, if you live in other parts of town don't be shy: You'd be warmly welcomed as Westy is one piece of the community of Warrington.
