IT'S DRY, CRACKED HEEL SEASON!
Did you know spring/summertime we see a lot more problems with cracked heels (Fissures)
This is contributed to by open back footwear, flip flops, sliders etc
How do I self care?
Regular washing in warm soapy water, followed by some gentle regular filing.
Then to apply a good heel balm. Urea based heel balms work well when used regularly.
Good cushioned footwear with a back and support around the foot can also help.
What if its too thick or I can't manage?
Give us a call. We can reduce the thickness of the hard skin for you, sand it smoother and apply a urea based cream.
