Here's something to brighten your day😊

Last Tuesday, Samantha & Michelle from Rhode Island Coffee organised an amazing Zipwire fundraiser in Bangor, they had truly a perfect day which raised a total of Β£1086, meaning they were able to donate Β£362 to their chosen charities: MacIntyre Charity Warrington Macmillan Cancer Support and British Heart Foundation

Samantha says, "Both myself and Michelle are blown away by the support everyone has shown us. We are already looking toward our next fundraising event for 2022."

Hi, I’ve just found out about the autism friendly film club. When’s the next one on please? I’d like to bring my eldest. Thanks
Our Warrington store's community champion Liz Cotterill says using the green tokens was always a highlight for many customers' children.

She said: "I know lots of customers have missed the green tokens and have been asking about them at the tills, so I think it's really clever to offer it digitally so that even more people can take part.

"Green Token Giving celebrates the smaller groups, so it makes a big difference to them and will help them get back on their feet after everything we've all been through over the last year."

So PTAs, community groups and local charities - share and email Liz for our Warrington, Wigan and Birchwood Stores Green Token Giving;

I have just tried to drop off some garden tools at the Victoria Park project in Latchford and tried two different roads to get in but both were barred and there is a sign saying the New Routes Project is closed due to Covid restrictions. Do you need any more gardening tools and if so how might I be able to get them to the allotment areas?
A huge thank you to 'the Carla's' at Bents Garden and Home for donating a boot-full of flowers and plants for the MacIntyre Charity Warrington project on the Lower Playground! MacIntyre Great Communities Warrington

The Friday group at the The Puddle Project cleaned out the chickens and the ducks for the first time today. Its not a popular job as it was a smelly and tough task. Its a great learning curve that it’s not all fun caring for the animals, but the group did a fantastic and professional job and the chucks and ducks now have a nice clean pen again. πŸ€’πŸ“πŸ¦†πŸ™ŒπŸ»
