Squadbuilder Board members met up with Tyrone McCarthy and Head of Performance Analysis Ste Mills recently. Squadbuilder are delighted to provided Tyke with system analysis equipment to assist him in his new role at the club. Ste gave a presentation to describe the new analysis systems introduced at the club and how player performance is analysed at the club. He explained how all players at every level, scholarship, Academy through to the first team squad are required to take responsibility for their own performance as part of their personal development. We are so grateful to Tyke and Ste for meeting us. Clearly they are two local lads full of enthusiasm for The Wire.

Squadbuilder is delighted to welcome Tyrone McCarthy back to the club in his new role as Assistant Academy coach to Paul Anderson and will also be Scholarship lead coach assisting Gary Chambers. Tyke's vast knowledge and experience as a Super League player and Ireland international will be a massive asset to the Youth Development team. It'll be so good to have one of our own local homegrown Squadbuilder players back at the club in such an important role.
Absolutely delighted to welcome back Tyke. As a hometown lad with vast experience in the game, he will be such an asset to the Youth Development Team inspiring and motivating the next generation of players.

SQUADBUILDER is so proud to support Tyke in his new roles by funding new equipment.

Wire Academy graduates 2021 clubs

Squadbuilder is delighted to support the development of our Home-grown players. To illustrate the success of our Youth Development team and the players they develop we have created a graphic to illustrate this. It depicts the players currently playing at the top level in 2021. There are over 50 players on the list with eleven in the Wire first team squad including our 4 international players Mike Cooper, Ben Currie, Joe Philbin and Toby King. There are also several players on the fringe of a first team appearance including Jacob Gannon, Morgan Burgess and Tom Whitehead who are in first team squad this week.

As much as we would love them all to stay at The Wire and have a career here, in reality there is always going to be players who move on to other clubs. Its great to see that so many still have a career in RL and we are proud that Warrington Wolves have created a career pathway for these players.

Membership of Squadbuilder is from only £5 a year. http://www.squadbuilder.co.uk/join/

Many thanks to Dave Ditchfield for producing the graphic and to Neil Dowson and Dave Whalley for their assistance in identifying the players and their current clubs.
