As a registered Pharmacist and Nutritionist, Iโm required to do lots of Continuing Professional Development (CPD). This isnโt a chore or a burden for me, as I absolutely love learning! Soaking it up like a sponge ๐งฝ and then sharing it with others to support their health and wellbeing ๐ฆ
Today Iโm off to Manchester to learn all about supporting people with joint pain ๐ฉป Iโm coming across this more often, and itโs also a lesser known, but common, effect of going through Perimenopause.
Looking forward to more learning and networking! ๐โค๏ธ ๐ค

Up and early - London bound to attend a CPD event!
Learning all about Obesity, weight loss and metabolic health ๐ง โ๏ธ
Looking forward to learning loads and meeting some like minded nutrition buddies! Some that Iโve connected with virtually, but havenโt met in person yet ๐

Good morning everyone!
Take time to breathe deeply and journey slowly in to this new day and week aheadโฆ.
Break down bigger tasks into smaller chunks to make them more manageable and less overwhelming.
Be kind to yourself and those around you too โฅ๏ธ ๐ซถ

Spent some time gardening this weekend ๐ชด๐ฑ
Feels so good being outdoors and planting seeds.
Trying out a new โseed matโ idea to grow some of my own rocket.
Plus some more cat grass for ours Tab, who absolutely loves munching on it. Some feline nutritional therapy - keeps her tummy settled and furball free! ๐ ๐ ๐พ
And growing some wild flowers for the beautiful bees ๐ and butterflies ๐ฆ ๐
Getting your hands dirty with soil has some great health benefits...
Did you know? Gardening boosts your mood because soil contains Mycobacterium vaccae, a natural bacterium that triggers serotonin - your brainโs โhappy hormoneโ - when absorbed through the skin, helping lift mood and support your immune system! ๐ชดโ ๐ง
What have you been doing this weekend? Let me know in the comments! ๐

Not here to bark orders - Iโm here to cheer you on! ๐๐ช
When you work with me to get to the root causes of your health concerns and start implementing changes to your nutrition and lifestyle, you wonโt find me chasing you with a wooden spoon (or rolling pin, like an Indian Aunty who has just been interrupted making her chappatis!๐).....
Instead, Iโm your biggest cheerleader ๐๐ฃ
I know what it feels like to make changes - I get it, because I live it too.
Whether itโs testing out new supplements, poking my own poo ๐ฉ (yes, I've done those stool tests too!), trialling breathing techniques, trying out new recipes, or managing food intolerances (Iโm dairy intolerant, so yesโฆ I totally get missing cheese and creamy desserts! ๐
๐ง๐จ), I walk the same walk.
Iโm in your corner! Guiding, encouraging, and celebrating the wins (big and small!) right alongside you ๐ค๐งโ๐คโ๐ง
Change isnโt always easy - but with the right support, it becomes so much more manageable.
And the payoff? Totally worth it, when your energy lifts, your symptoms ease, and you start feeling like you again.๐๐ช

Yummy bowl of fruit salad ๐ฅ ๐
Sometimes I just feel like eating something light and fresh!
Love this time of year when we have more seasonal, locally grown fruits and berries ๐๐๐ซ

A productive day in the kitchen!
Spent some time batch cooking nourishing meals to fuel the week ahead - curries, mince, mashed potatoes, and a homemade rhubarb crumble (fresh from my mumโs garden!).
Thereโs something so satisfying about preparing wholesome food in advance - one less thing to think about during a busy work week.
