With Charlotte off work today, Fitness Friday will be rolled-over to next week.

Wine-time Friday went ahead as normal, as all our residents enjoyed a red or white wine with their lunch. We also had a request for a shandy (Hazel!) - which was duly fulfilled 👍🍷🍺

The return of the sunshine, and the return of The Arlington Walking Club! ☀️🚶🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️

On route, we noticed that our stawberries are starting to appear and our tomato plants in the greenhouse are making progress🍓🍅

We also enjoyed a cup of tea and some plane spotting ✈️☀️

Getting ready for some nice weather! Today we made some summer bunting using a range of bright colours ☀️🌈

We also had a surprise visit from a lovely furry friend 🐶🐾

Recipe reminiscing 🧑‍🍳🍳

Our residents looked over old recipes and compared how they used to do things. Pat W used to make jam sandwiches and deep fry them! Brenda T used Camp Coffee!May F hid vegetables in pies so the children would eat them! 🤣

Some other residents chose to check our email inbox and respond to their families 📧, while others preferred to sit and enjoy the ladies tennis on the tv 🎾

The Arlington Arms was open as our residents gave their predictions, had a drink or two and cheered on Warrington 👏👏👏

Shame about the end result - but we gave the Warrington boys our full support 💪
