My Journey through covid19 😷🫶

Just before I opened BRHAIVE, the world stopped. No work, no income, about to complete on my first home. Times were tough but I knew I had to find a way to 1. Make money and 2. Stay in a good mindset.

Pre lockdown, I started planning ways to make money, as I knew we were in for a tough time. I started creating at-home hair packs to earn an income and I would add positive messages onto the bags and drop them outside people’s doors. It went so well in those first few weeks that it inspired other hairdressers to do the same, and we all became united together during a difficult time.

However, it became so much more. I was uplifting people, helping them feel good, and that sparked something in me.

I got more creative and ended up making 100s of goody bags for NHS staff. Inside were hair treatments, little self care products and messages of support. Proof that even in tough times, light can shine through.

Just a few weeks later, the universe aligned and led me to the salon of my dreams ✨ the very place where I first started my hair journey. It came up for rent right as I was actively searching for my own space. The rest of lockdown became a mission: 6 weeks of pouring my heart, time, and creativity into building the salon I had always envisioned. Lockdown was tough, but I turned it into an opportunity to create something beautiful. 💕

Attracting New Energy 🕉️✨🪬💕

After the last 6yrs of receiving reiki from my good friend Helen , I felt it was finally the right moment learn reiki myself and transition into new areas in my career 🕉️💛

Only until now has this felt like the right time to learn reiki. I’ve been on a long journey of self discovery and development for half a decade, and since coming back from maternity, I have transitioned from hairdressing to focusing on my business and pursuing my passions 🧘🏼‍♀️💝🫧🌸

I felt so ready for an up level in all areas of my life. Japanese headspa’s and reiki share the same roots, and I’m really enjoying learning, helping people on a deeper level and trying out new things ✨

Again thank you so much to Helen, my friend and healer, for such a powerful weekend last week, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds 💛
