UPDATE: People ask all the time am I still tattooing? I guess due to the fact I don’t post as often, a combination of being busy in other areas, volunteering everyday in a boxing club and working 6, 12 hour days also the fact I tend to do so much small stuff and the same recycled ideas people want that I have no interest in posting all of the stuff I feel isn’t that interesting for you guys to see and I’ve posted it all before. Also the Trade I work in.. I can’t stand the hipsters I refuse to shove s**te social media down your throats and I don’t have time even if I did I just don’t want to. designs (begging) people to get this tattoo usually some social media s**t that’s gotta be shocking for attention. Artists that are sat at home in the evening being recluse stoned on the iPad or sat in a studio all day with 5 other cloned artists messing about with nothing to tattoo so making a design of a banana turning into a c**k and a church on fire in a triangle. Tattooing is so saturated these days, About flipping 40 shops in Warrington and everyone’s got a pal who’s a artist who can do it cheaper. I have so many tyre kickers asking for prices and asking me to draw them stuff up for free it’s ridiculous. I’ve had shops for 15 years and it’s kinda gotten less enjoyable and more about just going to work and doing a job. I’m happy doing small jobs if that’s what I have to do , 3 tattoos a day. And I don’t mind tattooing pocket watches and roses they pay the bills . I love making people happy it is however somewhat monotonous, I’d love to do more large scale black and grey stuff. I do work part time tattooing now I only really do 4 days a week so I’m booked up a little as I spread it out and I often do good offers to encourage more clientele. Half healing half fresh. Tricky positioning over the knee, these take just as long to fit the stencil very fidgety and tender for the client but I think worth it.
