Some nature gnomes fun.

[09/21/20]   A few of the kids really enjoyed making this zombie film together and wanted to share it.


The kids wanted to try to recreate famous portraits today.


Current spaces available. We offer home from home childcare with lots of learning opportunities, nature play, days out exploring and a warm and caring environment. If you know anyone needing childcare for ages 3+ please share. :)


Friday rainbow science and a frosty walk and Percy Parkkeeper trail and Dunham Massey.


We're learning about ancient Greece this month, today we read about Thesius and the Minotaur. The kids made their own mazes and some added items to be gathered along the way to help fight the Minotaur. Also playing Labrynth, learning to finger knit and music.


Playdough and the ice cream farm today.


Last Tuesday--rainbow rice obstacle course making, gardening and outdoor play.


The last few days--drawing trees and playing out in the sunshine and mud.


Woodworking and a walk through Lymm Thursday.

A game of Bandido and a lovely visit to Quarry Bank Mill today, learning about the young apprentices that lived there and enjoying the games in the garden.


Thursday fun at owly woods.


Monday and Tuesday--making easter pictures and days out enjoying the sunshine.


Loose parts play, abstract art making and poetry teatime.


Today--lots of games: Jenga, Labrynth and Sherades, also Just Dance, making levers and wheels and axles out if cardboard and a short walk.


Friday--blind taste testing fun, free play and a lovely spring nature trail at Dunham Massey.


Monday - checking out the science fair at group and lots of outdoor play.


Today-- chemistry science- testing different household solutions on stains and PH testing. The kids decided what to test, made labels and decided where they thought the liquids would go on the pH scale before testing with a cabbage indicator. We talked about ways it could be improved and why some solutions worked better than others with the indicator. Also music and art, painting starfish.

Friday playdough, dancing, making smoothie recipes and trying them out and a nature walk at Rixton where we saw frog spawn, lots of snails, a butterfly and a newt.

[03/21/19]   I lost my Monday pictures as they didn't post but we had a poetry teatime, a trip to the library and the kids tried to recreate famous works of art with oil pastels, also lots of imaginitive play.


Today--games, drawing their favourite foods and talking about the different vitamins and minerals in them, a trip to the nature reserve where the children climbed and played a game of group rock paper scissors and saw toads and scarlet elf caps.

Wednesday--a vegan bake off challenge, slime making and games.


Thursday--making and eating their pizza creations, yoga and a walk to the park.

Games, playdough, Freewrite, 'paying' for snacks and a walk to the park.


Thursday gardeng group--helping to plant beetroot and build a polytunnel and expressive emotion art the children did while listening to different musical pieces. They chose an emotion the music represented and tried to draw how it felt, then described times they felt that emotion on the back.


Beautiful day at the walled garden and making little bark boats to float on the pond.


Today--raft making and testing to see how many marbles they could hold before sinking. Also lots of outdoor fun at group.
