Some of you may seen that the BBC was filming live in our market. As the stall was in the background someone noticed our sign to say we prepared seafood platters.

Just what you need on a autumn night smoked haddock in a leek sauce.To make the sauce sweat a leek onion & garlic in butter you can spice it up with a touch of chilli.Ask the fish monger to skin the fish but keep the skin to make the stock. simmer it in milk only for a few minutes.Add the stock to the leek and liquidise it return to the pan and add cream this should make a nice thick sauce poach the smoked haddock. Good with mash potatoes and vegetables.

Crab linguine
Really delicious and easy to cook
All you need is garlic chilli lime coriander white wine and a little cream .
For 2 people
1 dressed crab
Sweet garlic and chilli
Add crab zest of lime and lime juice
Let it heat up add glass of white wine in to bring to the boil slowly reduce when reduced add the cream keep stirring. Have your linguine ready, add to the crab and mix all together with some fresh coriander.
Delicious serve with a glass of white wine .
