On this day 80 years ago, then-Prime Minister Winston Churchill said that the country had “emerged from one deadly struggle” as he announced the end of World War Two in Europe.

Joy and cheer filled the streets as people celebrated the end of a war that had killed over 50 million people since it began in 1939.

At 1200, Drive Ability North West staff will join the two-minute national silence to mark 80 years since Victory in Europe Day.

Passenger assessments for adults & children - Driving Mobility Sometimes drivers or passengers (adults or children) may have difficulty getting into or out of the vehicle, or it may be the safety of a passenger, who has challenging behaviour, that is of concern. Access assessments address all these needs whatever the difficulty.
