This morning, our lovely residents headed out to Bruntwood Park to soak up the sunshine. We enjoyed peaceful strolls through the gardens, fed the ducks, and topped it all off with a delicious treat in the café. 🦆🌿🍰

This afternoon, the fun continued as part of our Music Week! We visited the Music in Mind Café at Heaton Moor United Church where there was no shortage of singing, dancing, and joyful music. 🎶💃🕺

We kicked off this year’s Care Home Open Week in the most joyful way — with fabulous Bollywood dancing! 💃🕺 Our residents had an amazing time getting involved, moving to the rhythm, and enjoying the vibrant energy in the room. 🌟

This year’s theme is “The Power of Music”, and we couldn’t agree more with how powerful and uplifting music can be. 🎵

At our home, music plays a vital role in daily life — it lifts spirits, eases stress, sparks conversation, and helps rekindle treasured memories. It’s not just entertainment; it’s therapy, connection, and joy all wrapped into one. ❤️

We’ve got a full week of musical activities planned — stay tuned for more dancing, singing, and magical musical moments! 🎤🎶

Yesterday we raised a glass (or two!) to the wonderful gents who make our community so special. The day was filled with laughter, classic dad jokes, and plenty of reminiscing over beers, wine, cakes, and pies.

Here’s to all the fathers, grandfathers, and father figures who bring warmth, wisdom, and wit into our lives — you’re truly appreciated! 💙🍻🥧

Our lovely ladies have been busy brightening up the home with beautiful fresh flowers today! This morning, we enjoyed a peaceful walk outdoors to collect some extra foliage, and this afternoon we got creative filling our vases with colourful blooms.

The result? A home that looks and smells absolutely stunning! 🌿✨

We stayed local for our latest Myley Trip and had a wonderful afternoon at the Lymm Sanctuary Hub's Memory Café.

A huge shoutout to the amazing volunteers who make it such a welcoming and uplifting space — what you do is truly fantastic! 👏💐

Our residents had such a lovely time, filled with smiles, stories, and connection. We’ll definitely be visiting again soon! 💫

Our residents always look forward to the monthly church service hosted by Derek and Pauline. 💒 Their visits bring comfort, joy, and a sense of community to those who can no longer attend church like they once did.

There’s nothing like fresh flowers to brighten up a home — and here at Statham Manor, we take that to heart! Our lovely ladies love getting hands-on with flower arranging, filling our rooms with color, creativity, and joy. It’s amazing what a few blooms and a lot of smiles can do!

This week, we had the joy of hosting a mini sports day with the amazing children from Back to the Garden Nursery! 🏃‍♀️🤸‍♂️ The kids visit us regularly, and it's heartwarming to see the strong bonds they've built with our residents.

The smiles, laughter, and shared memories remind us just how special these connections are. Our residents always look forward to these visits, and we couldn't be happier to watch these friendships blossom. 🌸

We were delighted to welcome Linda and Terry for a wonderful session of pet therapy!

Spending time with these gentle, loving animals brings so many benefits—reducing stress, anxiety, and feelings of isolation, while boosting mood and encouraging social interaction.

Our residents always light up when the pups arrive, and the positive impact on their mental and physical well-being is truly heartwarming.

Thank you to Linda and Terry for spreading so much joy—tails were wagging and smiles were everywhere!
