After a lovely day we’ve headed back to for Alton after Dark and get in some final night time rides before Scarefest with the clocks changing in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Happy Thorpe Park season opening eve!!!!

Yes the time has come for Thorpe Park to reopen its gates for the 2025 season!

Are you “finding your fearless” on the UKs tallest and fastest rollercoaster Hyperia, “feeling the heat” on Nemesis Inferno, or maybe looking to go from 0-80mph in under 2 seconds on Stealth or experiencing the post apocalyptic world of Swarm over in Swarm Island?

Maybe just maybe… you want to experience the power of ten on Colossus or face your fears on Saw the ride? Or you just fancy a good old soaking on Tidal Wave?

Thorpe Park “the island like no other”has got you covered!

Also delighted that Alton Towers has confirmed that Congo River Rapids will be opening from Monday 7th April (opening daily from 12pm).

Although we aren’t yet out of March there have been a growing number of spring sun days which are perfect for having a splashtastic ride on Congo so fingers crossed we get some more beautiful sunshine in April ☀️

Over the last 12 months we’ve seen a distinct increase in getting wet and we are personally looking forward to seeing how the adjusted escape route impacts on the splash level as the boats testing during kids pass we’re getting a decent wave crashing up the side 🌊

Hex – The Legend of the Towers: Opening Tuesday 1st April 2025 (opening daily from 11am) Has just been announced.
This is my favourite mad house , we can’t wait to be able to be back riding it .

I love that the season starts with Alton after dark on a weekend ❤️It’s a brilliant idea !
The fact we don’t have to wait till winter and darker nights to get those night rides in is awesome.

The park comes to life of an evening with the incredible theming and lighting everywhere you look across the park .
The forbidden valley it is my favourite for this captivating experience , i had a moment on Sunday where when i was looking down from nemesis reborns queue line and thought how lucky we are to have this park as somewhere we get to go most weekends and enjoy ☺️

It’s was hard not to miss us at the weekend at alton towers all of us in our favourite new very bright green toxicator hoodies 😂
