World Lambrusco Day is this Friday

Chiarli Lambrusco Amabile -

With notes of juicy red berries, this Lambrusco is floral, ripe and silky. Deep red colour, vivacious foam with a deep pink tinge thanks to the long natural fermentation process.

Like Chardonnay, Lambrusco gained a bad rep in the 80s. There were lots of bad & cheap syrupy sweet wines. Amabile means semi-sweet and this wine is made from Grasparossa, an off-dry grape, rather than sweeter Sorbara.

An easy drinker, this works as both an aperitivo or a dessert wine. Pair with antipasti, spicy foods, ragu and BBQ.

Stop by for a glass or a bottle.

DO mop up the last of your pasta sauce with a piece bread!

“Fare la scarpetta”, a beloved end of meal ritual, means “make the little shoe” and refers to the joyous act of wiping your bowl clean with bread to enjoy the remnants of a wonderful dish.

Whilst not the most elegant act, it’s a cultural mainstay and great signifier to the chef that you’ve enjoyed their meal!

Two of the undisputed world’s favourite foods come head to head in this headline worthy collaboration between two of Brighton’s bests, and Cin Cin.

The menu is £48 and consists of 4 courses, 2 collaborative and two consisting of a dish each. Choose either local meat or veg and let the dishes do the talking.

There are limited tables available over two sittings so be sure to book quick.

This year we’re supporting the WOLO Foundation and the vital work they do helping Sussex families dealing with cancer.

On Wednesday 5th June, join us as some of the hottest chefs in the South serve up their own signature arancini dishes, putting their unique touch on an Italian classic in hope of winning the crown.

Your ticket gets you a spritz on arrival + the four arancini, with £10 from each ticket going to WOLO.

There will of course be more drinks to purchase on the night + amazing prizes to be won in our raffle!

So come along and support a great cause, while enjoying some delicious food and drink.

Our charity Arancino fundraising event is back this year. With even more brands and two sessions to avoid disappointment on missing out (as last year tickets sold out in 1 hour!). This popular event sees us welcome guest chefs from local restaurants to create their own twist on the classic arancino. Last years winner in Hove was the hugely talented chef Alun Sperring from The Chilli Pickle with his delicious Kari Crab.

This year there will be two sessions of four brands (including Cin Cin in each session), one at 5:30pm-7:30pm, and one at 8:30pm-10:30pm. This event will take place on Wednesday 5th June in both our restaurants in London and Hove.

£30 a ticket for a drink on arrival plus the four arancini dishes served by each restaurant. £10 from each ticket sale will go to Wolo to raise vital funds to support families living with cancer. Aiming to raise £1,500 for Wolo.
There will be guest judges and the people’s choice award on the night, plus a raffle of fabulous prizes donated by participating restaurants to win and raise even more money for Wolo.

Tickets will go on sale on Monday 20th May so bookmark the date in your diaries to not miss out. And throughout this week we’ll be announcing the brands taking part in each session so watch this space for exciting news to come!
