😎 Last Thursday we began a new driveway project and in just 2️⃣ and a half days we managed to excavate a whopping 80 tonnes of waste, installed necessary soakaway crates, stoned up the ground, built brick pillars at the entrance and dug out for a new electric connection.

💧Permeable Concrete…

🤔 What is it and why is it good?

➡️ It’s a specialised type of concrete designed to allow water to pass through its structure allowing for effective water drainage making it SUDS compliant, unlike traditional concrete surfaces such as pavements which create impermeable barriers leading to flooding and water pollution.

⭐️ We are constantly using tried and tested working methods to provide a finish that lasts, hence why we chose this product as a base for a resin driveway which we would normally use tarmac for.

🤩 What’s better on a humpday than a visit from Stella on site!

⏭️ We commenced driveway works on a property uphill before further decisions are made on the Hemswell project.
We have removed trees, stoned up the ground and started laying the border before we get the permeable concrete followed by the resin.

✔️ Another day boxed off at our Hemswell site an it’s been a busy one 🥵

This week marks the 4️⃣th week since we commenced the works and so far we’ve completed the following; groundworks, concreting, inspection pits, EV blocks, installed bollards to the building perimeter and began tarmacking.

🤝 We made the finishing touches to this site for our client organising and delivering this project to a high standard.

📈Busy day at Hemswell yesterday and a lot more progress made!

🚛 We had an early stone delivery and got rid of tonnes of soil following further excavation work.

👏 We managed to make the most of the weather and stoned up at the front of the building, we also installed the foundations ready for 8 metre lighting columns to go in.

🌧️ Despite the weather conditions today, we are still on site cracking on 💪.

✔️ Yesterday we commenced works on a site at Hemswell where we will be based at for a few weeks.

🤝 This project has been in the pipeline for a while and we have been working very closely with the architect to ensure between us we deliver the highest quality workmanship for our client.

👀 There is plenty we will be showcasing on this one!

🤝 Nice little job completed today for a new client, with bad access and tough levels to work with we’ve still delivered this project on a budget and efficiently.

🚧 The team have had a busy day reinstating a path at Lincoln High Street following the Golden Cross pub demolition works.

✅ Being an LCC highways approved contractor means we have the ability to provide assistance on these projects within a quick timeframe.
