Holmestead Cakes and Bakes

I was asked to create a buttercream sponge wedding cake for a lovely Good Friday wedding with fresh flowers. Normally I work with sugar but wiring up real flowers is similar and although I’m not a florist I was pleased with the end result which matched the brides bouquet.
I’m looking to hold a series of sugar flower classes this year. Would you be interested?

It’s a long while since I did a cake but this was for John’s niece. A lovely Guess how much I love you christening cake. The top tier being a fruit cake from her wedding top tier as tradition always dictated.
