Valley Road- Rickmansworth, before and current build. This project has been challenging with curved, canter levered roofs, almost a full demolition. We’ve created a huge roof space, enough for two bedrooms and a bathroom on the third floor. The finished build will have 5/6 bedrooms all with en-suites, cinema room, open plan high spec kitchen, polished concrete floors and underfloor heating. This is the unfinished rear elevation of a project in Chorleywood. Which now looks more like it!
Probably the most challenging project we’ve undertaken due to the shoddy workmanship to a house built in 2008.
The basement was leaking, all the drainage was running uphill. All the floor joists and roof was miles out of level!!!
Walls miles out of level!
No connection to the main sewers.
Timber famed built buy total cowboy!!!
Electrics and plumbing 🙄 ripped out!
Building waste dumped all over the site!!
Shocking.
Total rip out and re furbishment.
5 new bathrooms!
What a mission. We’re getting there!!
