Saturday was about soaking up the rays and eating another pavlova. I’m getting quite good at it but I always manage to over whip the cream! Still taste delish though.

A photo I took years ago the first year Charlie and I were together. Our first trip together was driving from London to south of France to stay with his grandparents and meet the family. It was glorious, it was chaos and it was just perfect. Something that really took my eye on a little walk around Saint-Paul-de-vence. I love that adding something so beautiful to an everyday object just changes things so dramatically to bring the most heart warming smile.

I think my art is all about this, making every day objects just a little more beautiful to bring that unexpected smile everyday.

As I finally launched my birth flower collection I thought it would great to introduce use candle every month!

The month of July - The water lily and Larkspur. The water lily symbolises purity, joy, and innocence. The white Larkspur symbolizes love and happiness.

Probably my second favourite candle in the whole collection I loved painting the little lily pads. They also remind me so much of Asia and home and water making me feel instantly calm. The larkspur was also so lovely to paint and make look almost fluffy and light.

Can’t believe how quickly Mother’s Day and Easter are coming round! Loved painting these little ones and having a bit of fun with it all.

There is always this difficult balance with running a business. Being creative but remembering it needs to make sense in terms of its cost.

The longer something takes to paint, the more expensive it is. So having to keep this in mind when trying to get each and every design perfect is a skill I’ve taken time to work on.

Artisan made pieces don’t get more expensive because we want to make more money out of them, it is often they cost more to make, cause time is 💸💸💸

This was such a special set I did before Christmas that I just adored! I hand embroidered the napkins and my customer’s dad used a commercial machine to add the text! The name is the name of a holiday home in South Africa so they are extra special!

Loved being able to bring together creative skills from different places to make a beautiful final unique gift for her loved one ♥️

Anyone else started watching expat on with Nicole Kidman? When I saw it was filmed in Hong Kong I just had to watch it! I was worried I would get annoyed by them getting things wrong and painting a misleading picture of Hong Kong.

The scenes and shots of certain areas of Hong Kong brings back to many memories of makes me long for home. I loved how it reminded me how it really is a magical place, glass skyscrapers right next to hills full of trees.

The atmosphere of the markets, colours, sounds, people. I lived in markets as a child in Hong Kong, spent every Saturday in fai Yuen market which I am pretty sure the market featured in the show!

Just for seeing what Hong Kong actually looks like it is definitely worth a watch. As for the lifestyle, don’t be fooled that that is “normal” for all Hong kongers. 🇭🇰

Chinese new year is just around the corner and this year is the year of the dragon.

My husband and my mum are year of the dragon so for all your other dragons out there, here’s how your year will go! My mum is a firm believe in this kinda stuff but it does make me giggle a bit with how much detail there is!

Dragons offend two different tai sui this year, so be prepared for a few bumps ahead. They should boost their luck with auspicious events such as getting married, starting a family, buying property or starting a business. There is a lucky star that will also help with promotions and progression in their career.

Two cursed stars are present for Dragons this year, which will affect health and lead to accidents. To abate these curses, they should give blood or get their teeth cleaned at the dentist in the third or ninth month of the lunar calendar.
