A wet but wonderful day at Children and parents enjoyed the workshops and hearing about Princess Sophia’s campaign to change the lives of women.

Fabulous day at held at Warwick University talking about Sophia Duleep Singh and making protest banners. What one thing would you like to change in the world?

Our creative writing workshops will now take place at 44 Cafe Bar Bistro Leamington Spa at the new time of 6 pm to 7.30 pm. There will still be workshops at Temperance but at different days and times.

The first workshop this coming Wednesday will focus on poetry writing. Hope you can make it!

A lovely Sunday spent at Resonate Festival discussing ‘Remembering Sophia’.

A few years ago I left the legal profession to do something different but I didn’t know what. What I did know was that I loved to write stories. I embarked on a Creative Writing MA and met brilliant people who also loved to write. I wrote some books including a couple of collaborations. Yesterday I graduated with a PhD in telling hidden stories through creative writing.

As it’s International Women’s Day here’s the a shout out for ‘Remembering Sophia.’ The book is a work of art in itself and appeals to both children and adults. ‘Remembering Sophia’ celebrates the achievements of Sophia Duleep Singh a leading suffragette in her fight for freedom and democracy.

Boys too need to learn about and celebrate amazing women .x

Excited to announce that Remembering Sophia’ is available to buy at Elveden Hall. Sophia was born at Elveden Hall and spent her early life living here.

‘Remembering Sophia’ is now available to buy at the Brighton Pavilion, Brighton Museum and Hove Museum. Sophia had a particular connection with Brighton. She spent four years at a school in the city. During World War One she visited Indian soldiers who were convalescing at the Brighton hospitals.

Congratulations to who was chosen randomly and had won a copy of ‘Remembering Sophia.’

Jen and I had a fabulous weekend at Leamington Spa's Art in the Park festival. At our stall, we ran a Hidden Histories workshop and promoted our new book 'Remembering Sophia', which has just been published.

At the workshop, Jen demonstrated how to make personalised notebooks and everybody who attended left with beautiful creations and smiles on their faces - adults and children alike!
