Poker- In remembrance for my father we will run an annual poker tournament in his name every year. I honestly couldn’t have picked a better winner for the first event. Congratulations to Trevor “Titty” Catterson on an absolute masterclass. 🙌

‘Funny story’ 3 years ago I caught t***y bluffing and put him out of the Dunne Mc Kane perpetual cup. This year he retuned the favour and put me out in the same manner 😂

Darts- Charlie’s bar vs Joes Bar. Every few months we have a team of men/women from both bars going head to head in an epic battle of pride. The first event ended at 14 all. Myself and Charles had to play a deciding game and luckily I came out on top to take the trophy home for all the crew at Joes. All proceedings went to local charities. Keep an eye out for the next event ✌🏻

Football- Leading up to the events of the 23rd February I decided to put a team into A memorial cup. The team consisted of staff, family and regular drinkers. This was a fun day out and now we’re in talks of starting a local league with each pub having their own team. I’d like to say a special mention to the Runners up, Anton Devine’s team gave us a difficult match. Ive no doubt in my mind if these boys play again next year they will be victorious. More to follow on the league 😉

Over the past few months Joes bar has engaged in numerous sporting competitions darts, pool, football, poker ect. Here’s a few pics from these events with a short paragraph describing how the events went 👍🏻

Pool- I’d like to congratulate Shane mc Connell on winning the ‘Bunty Devine’ memorial cup. Shane displayed nerves of steel against an unbelievable Cathal “Cactas” Quinn. Both lads played exceptionally well with Shane coming out on top. It took some persuading but I’d like to Thank Cathy and Anto Devine for presenting the trophy to the winner.
