Huge thanks to Teo's owner for recording this yesterday and allowing us to share...
Teo is an 11 year old Italian Spinone suffering with atypical Addisons disease and degenerative demyelination polyneuropathy. This combination is a tricky one but means we have to make many considerations whilst treating him.
His owner tells us since starting hydro he has marked improvement and this is also noted by Teo's friends and family 🥰🥰 xx
Introducing 9 year old Solo the Border Terrier. He was referred to us as he has tight muscles in his rear due to kyphosis (curvature of his spine). He also had some hindlimb weakness due to compensation in his gait to offload the pressure on his spine.
Solo absolutely loves swimming and is an absolute pleasure to treat. His owner's have said they've noted a marked improvement and also he has stopped growling when being touched around his lower back area 🥰🥰 xx
Ps sorry for my annoying voice on the video I was full of enthusiasm 🤭🤭🤣🤣
We often get asked if we do puppy swims or learn to swim sessions. We absolutely do!
Giving your dogs their first experience in water swimming in the right environment is critical. A bad experience could impact them adversely forever. It could also risk their life!
Here is the lovely rescue Monty taking his first ever swim 🥰🥰🥰🥰
He is being supported the whole time by myself, Megan and Albie not to mention his owners. Please don't think you can just put your dog into a body of water and they'll naturally swim. It's absolute nonsense and downright irresponsible and dangerous xx
The pretty princess that is Arya... She came yesterday for her regular hydro. She had her 7th birthday so we had to get a snap and celebrate 🥰🥰😍😍 xx
She made us take several so we got her best side 🤭🤭🤣🤣
Meet lovely Binky the Bulldog. Thanks to her owner for allowing us to share this. They aren't natural swimmers due to their conformation!
Binky is seeing us for physiotherapy and hydrotherapy post surgery for a ruptured cruciate. She is doing exceptionally well and debunking the theory that Bulldogs don't swim or retrieve 🥰🥰 xx
It hasn't gone unnoticed that arguably the best dog show in the world has been taking place this week...
I just want to say I'm hugely proud of all my friends and their dogs who have had the honour to compete or be a part of the show. Whether you placed or not; getting there or being invited to demonstrate is the most tremendous achievement.
Many of you might not know but my grandparents were English bull terrier breeders and also judged at Crufts several times. One of my most treasured possessions is my Grandma's judge badge which she lovingly gave me. Picture of it below. I had no clue quite how valuable and treasured it would become. Especially now when my life is so weaved into the lives and wellbeing of canines including the elite.
Ironically I've never been to Crufts myself but hopefully will change that into the future. For now I'm going to pray for my beloved Greyhound breed to win best in show 🙏 ❤ xx
Hope everyone is well. Possibly just 1 of many, many reasons I'm still single 🤭🤭🤣🤣 xx
Outrageous... please be vigilant xx
Happy international women's day to the most stunning woman I know inside and out... I couldn't love you more ###x
So this happened on Tuesday... huge thank you to his owner for allowing us to share it.
This is what our job is all about. Lovely incredibly dedicated owner and a dog who wouldn't allow us anywhere near him when we met! Nor was he willing to get into the pool. With time love and patience this happened in session 4 😍😍
Jack gave us full 100% trust and let himself go.... it's beyond rewarding when you get moments like this 😍😍 xx
Hi all please take a look at this beautiful woman's fundraising effort. Sara is without the most incredibly talented artist and a personal friend. She has supported me in my business and also painted my own dogs. This is an amazing opportunity to perhaps have a fantastic painting and raise money at the same time.
If you don't want to participate in the raffle then at least share this post to help her efforts. Check her out she raises so much money for dog charities through her talent 🥰🥰 xx
Thanks to Luna's owner for allowing us to share this...
Luna has been seeing us for about 9 months now to conservatively manage her diagnosis of hip dysplasia at a young age. Luna's vet recommended hydro to avoid the need for surgical intervention later down the line.
Luna loves her swimming and is remarkably strong in her hindlimbs now 🥰🥰 Long may it continue xx
Raw dog food products recalled from stores due to salmonella risk Dog owners are being urged to check their dog food batch numbers because several have been recalled due to salmonella, which is relatively harmless in dogs but can be life-threatening to humans
Hi all. You will be pleased to know the tree blocking the road at Partridge Green has finally been cleared!!! Xx
Fantastic opportunity for some new skills and fun xx
We have a couple of last minute spaces in our UK sniffer dogs tracking class this Saturday at 10am and our Scentwork class this Sunday at 10am. They are both 6 week classes and are held at Houndie house in Ashurst.
You can either book online or email us at [email protected]
Just a couple of things...
We are currently experiencing issues with messenger so please contact us via email at [email protected] for any queries.
There is currently still a diversion in place for those approaching us via Partridge Green due to a fallen tree by the Fountain Pub. Please check your routes prior to any sessions.
For those approaching via the Steyning end of the B2135 ignore the road closed sign as the farm is still accessible it refers to the closure further up xx
If this isn't you... who are you?? 🤔🤔🤣🤣 xx
Lovely Bramble has been coming to see us for a little while. She suffers with arthritis so hydrotherapy was suggested by her vet to help strengthen her. Whilst coming to us we identified that Bramble was suffering a new injury causing hyperextension in her left carpus or wrist.
Hyperextension makes the foot look flat and this had been caused by a strain to Bramble's ligaments making her wrist less stable. After sending Bramble back to the vet. Her owner attended physiotherapy with our lovely Felicity.
Along with advice on exercise restrictions and exercises to aid recovery a wrist support was recommended by Felicity.
When we last saw Bramble at hydro and raised our suspicion of a strain to her ligaments she was not using her left forelimb properly at all. She was moving her limb through her shoulders in circles avoiding using her wrist at all.
Massive thank you to her owner for allowing us to share this video of Bramble back at hydro yesterday swimming with the aid of a wrist support. Whilst her movement isn't perfect it's so much better than it was. We now don't need to worry about her potentially hurting her shoulder due to the wrist.
This is a great example of teamwork is dreamwork... combining the skills of physio and hydrotherapy leads to optimum outcomes 😍😍 xx
It never gets any easier hearing of the sad loss of our hydro dogs. Today our darling Bailey gained his wings. Bailey was a 1 in a billion dog with so much spirit and sass... run free Bailey you will be greatly missed xx

IMPORTANT MESSAGE
We have made the decision based on current weather forecasted to cancel all our physiotherapy and hydrotherapy clinics today.
All of us have to travel some distance to get to work. We will be contacting you all to reschedule. Sorry for any inconvenience xx
Our clinics are going ahead as planned tomorrow as long as we can all get into work safely. Please watch the page for updates. We will be in touch should the need to cancel sessions arrive xx
Happy valentines day everyone 🥰🥰
So as not to disappoint I give you this for thought... my valentines are definitely pointy nosed, furry and 4 legged 🤗🤗 xx
When you're up against it all and tired and weary and look over your desk to find this 🥰🥰😍😍 xx
Well magic moments look like this...
Lovely Nala joined us earlier this week for her 10th weekly session. We grow to love our dogs like they're our own. We learn and study and sometimes a curve ball comes along and the text book gets thrown out.
Dogs are not natural born swimmers and sometimes it's just about trust. Nothing makes our job more special than the moment I whisper to Meg just let them go. 10 sessions in and this beauty excelled herself and blew us away 🥰🥰
Nala is a little over a year old and has osteochondritis dissecans (OCD) of both shoulders. This condition causes arthritis of the associated joints and bones. Nala has had surgery and hydrotherapy is helping to manage her condition.
In Nala's case it was imperative to get her swimming calmly and fluidly to avoid aggrevating her shoulders. With patience, perseverance and love - all good things come to those who wait xx
Hello wonderful people. A student vet nurse at 1 of the practices we work very closely with needs some help to complete her studies.
If any if our lovely clients could help by completing the survey we would be very grateful 🙏 xx

Evening all... hope you're well. As many of you know I lost my lad Grayson on 04.12.21. Now introducing our new friend who is my friend's dog Woody. He is a new housemate that comes for extended stays fitting around his Mum's work. We absolutely love and adore our handsome Woody 🥰🥰 xx
Meet marvellous, magnificent, magical Murphy. He will be 14 on 1st May but he isn't letting that slow him down.
This is his 3rd session with us. He is generally arthritic and needs to strengthen up. His owner says he doesn't really have any interest in toys 🤔
Apparently he does and she tells us he is displaying puppy behaviour and seems more "free" all round! Looking forward to watching this boy go from strength to strength 💪 🥰🥰 xx
Introducing Leila... this beautiful girl has lumbosacral spondylosis, hip dysplasia and secondary arthritis. This is her first session with us and she is under assessment.
If you look carefully you will see how her hindlimbs throw out from her body as she is swimming. Later in the session as she was so good and relaxed we were able to support her hips to correct this movement.
Leila is having physiotherapy and hydrotherapy with us to conservatively manage her condition. We can't take all the credit this little lady used to have treatment in South Africa which is where she came from. Amazing first session though 🥰🥰 xx
Evening all... we are super busy so sorry for radio silence.
For proper hound and dog officionados I know you'll get this 🙈🙈🙉🙉🤣🤣 xx
Huge thank you to each and everyone of you for all your support, kindness and business this year. Wishing you all a very happy, healthy, houndie new year...
Whilst many might be making resolutions. In these times of uncertainty be assured I will continue to be the people hating, dog loving maniac I've always been 🤭🤭😏😏🤣🤣 xx
Literally my life story 🤔🤔🤣🤣 xx

Sorry we're quiet but we are very busy poolside. We have had several newbies and also welcomed back a few old faces too.
This is the lovely Digby who has had a recent diagnosis of bilateral hip dysplasia. He has been having some physiotherapy and started hydrotherapy. This is his second session 😍😍 xx
Will leave this here... works for us 🙈🙈🤣🤣 xx
So Rosie has been coming to HHH for quite a while now to help manage her arthritis.
It was her 12th birthday and as it's her favourite thing her owners brought housemate Henry to join her for a celebration swim yesterday 🥰🥰
Happy birthday darling Rosie - we absolutely adore you!! Rosie is the chocolate lab modelling the pink birthday hat 🤭🤭
Thanks to her hoomans for allowing us to share these pics xx
