Good morning everyone. Hope you have all been well. We have been extremely busy getting you all looking smart again. Things have calmed down a bit more now and we can accommodate walk ins.

We currently have been given the green light for April 12th. Our booking relaunch date starts from then and you are all welcome to start booking yourselves in!

You will see us wipe the chairs with a sterile wipe before you take the seat.
You will see us take freshly sanitised equipment out for your haircut and you will see us using a disinfecting clipper spray on our clippers before your haircut.
You will also have a freshly laundered gown.

We had a fantastic day yesterday working with our very own Carly Franklin. Carly has joined our team and works on a Monday with us. I have worked with Carly before for a number of years and she is a great barber. Carly really enjoys doing children’s hair, she was at mother care specialising in cutting kids hair. Good morning to you all. We have some very exciting news. We are pleased to welcome a very talented young barber to our team. Aaron was trained by a very good friend of mine and is a great barber. Aaron starts work next week and you will be able to book in with him via our Nearcut App or by contacting us at Charlie’s.

A very hectic but enjoyable 1st week back to work. We enjoyed putting right some of the home creations and some of the ones who resisted the home hair cuts. Great hearing your stories about your lock down experiences. And a huge thank you for all of everyone’s support. Over 1000 engagements by you all. Awesome!!!

As we prepare to open and get you all looking smart chaps again. Could we please please ask you to make sure that you are on time for your appointments. There are rumours of road alterations in Staple Hill, so give yourselves plenty of time.

Good morning all. We at Charlies’s Barbershop are up and running with our appointment system on the Nearcut app and things are filling up quite nicely. We are pleased to announce that we have Carly Franklin back with us. Carly has worked with us before and is a great Barber with lots of experience. Her first Monday for appointments will be the 13th. Julian is still with us and is operating his book in service manually for customers who prefer not to use the app. Thank you for your patience!

Hello everyone. We had to have a little tinker with the time slots. When we first set it up we used 5 min slots, which made it a little awkward with spacing the day out, as we were doing 30-45min services. It’s going to change to 15 minute spacing. I hope this doesn’t affect your appointments in any way. Might be worth checking though just in case. Many thanks!

Hi all, as me and Chris are such dinosaurs we made some mistakes when launching the booking system which i believe is all sorted now (thanks to my daughter). Good evening patient people. We have just heard that we can re open in July. We will have a booking system up and running within a day or two. It can be accessed via an app called Nearcut, which will also be linked to our Facebook booking system. We are not allowed to have 'walk ins' and Julian doesn’t do multi media but he will be available through out the day if anyone wants to arrange to book with him. Good morning all. Hope you are all well. Chris and myself have been getting are heads around reopening. Us along with 99% of barbers are going to do an appointment system. This is for the safety of us barbers and also for your safety.

Did some research today and managed to pass a Barbicide ( trade standard disinfectant ) course on new Hygiene & disinfectant rules in light of this awful disease. Trying to get ready for the re-opening in July.

Good evening patient people. As I understand it from today’s news. It looks like we are one of the last trades to be allowed to open.
It looks like July will be the earliest we will be allowed to open, so long as people behave and don’t send us back to square one.
Chris Martin and myself are getting things in place for our return and we will try to get in touch with you to book in appointments as soon as we have a start date.
