Dynamic Jazz and Blues singer and pianist TJ Johnson kicks off the Summer Jazz Nights series at the Secret Garden in Shoreham. TJ has a vast repertoire which ranges from Louis Armstrong to Willie Nelson. He has performed around the world to enthusiastic audiences at festivals and Jazz clubs. TJ is joined by Bryan Ferry guitarist and recorded jazz artist in his own right Nils Solberg. Local Bass player George Trebar joins on double bass.

Hope to see you all on Friday as part of the ‘Light up Shoreham’ festival.
We have our licensed bar open, festive sounds and a live performance from the George Trebar Trio. (Free admission)

Also we will displaying the gorgeous watercolours with mixed media of local artist Trisha Keith (Brighton Open house Artist of the year finalist) who will be in attendance from 3 pm, a great opportunity to acquire one of her limited edition prints.
The record shop will also be open to peruse with plenty of gift options.

Rumour has it we may even be getting a visit from Santa himself ! 😉

So.... we have been operating the ‘secret garden’ venue under temporary event licences whilst our permanent one is pending.
Just to let you know we are licensed this Saturday so please come along in the afternoon from 1pm and have a drink with us ..... craft beers, wines, spirits and some good sounds on offer.

Well we made it...

'The Secret Garden' has arrived....a new and exclusive arts hub in the heart of Shoreham. (Give us a 'Like' with link below)

The idea was to combine music, spoken word and other arts events with a licensed bar in an intimate ,relaxing environment.

The last year has been a challenge to us all and at times it felt it would never happen, but we got here in the end.

We had a trial opening last month and it was a fabulous evening, with live music, poetry, and an enthusiastic, friendly crowd
Apologies if you weren't aware of this event but as we had to keep the numbers down to keep everyone safe it wasn't widely advertised .

Anyway, you may be aware that Shoreham is having a little festival next weekend (14th August) ....

When the party in town begins to wind down at 5pm, The Secret Garden will be opening it's doors for a balmy and relaxing evening with live music, great company and a well-stocked bar. Come and join us!

Long Way Home Productions will be hosting monthly music events beginning with an intimate evening with Jamie Freeman. on the 20th of AUG.

There will be around 20 indoor tickets available for this, with more released if good weather permits it to be held outside in the courtyard.
The emphasis is still very much on keeping everyone safe in the current climate of uncertainty .
