JW Stratton were delighted to have been presented with their Bricks Site Recognition Award by LABC Warranty last week.

The award was presented by Jonathan Cornell, Senior Risk Management Surveyor at LABC Warranty, to site agent Jack Green, and Richard Snow our Site Project Manager.

The Bricks Site Recognition Award winners are chosen every month and are then further shortlisted at the end of the year, where only the best of those sites will be rewarded with The Bricks annual award trophy, one of the construction industry’s most prestigious awards given to outstanding sites from England and Wales.

Those sites that score consistently high for general co-operation with inspectors, health and safety, site tidiness, standard of site management standard of workmanship are nominated for a Site Recognition Award.

Our popular Macauley Place development in Sovereign Harbour, Eastbourne is making great progress. With Phase 1 properties now sold out, we are focusing on Phase 2.

Phase 2 – Townhouses are now all weathered in with the last of the scaffold coming down. The first 4 houses are plastered with internal decoration complete in plots 26 & 27. External works (roads, gardens and landscaping) are underway and the first of the houses on Phase 2 will be ready to move in before Christmas. We will be using one of the houses (plot 18) for showing purposes, but the remaining 9 houses can be completed before the end of the Stamp Duty 'holiday' in April.

The block of 4 two bedroom apartments (Loa Court) is under construction with completions available early in 2021. The apartments in Loa Court are large 2 bedroom/2 bathroom apartments with balconies to the front and rear. An off-road parking space is allocated to the rear of the block.
