To help the problem David would lay their daughter on a blanket and gather it up in a bundle before simply picking her up! In the new year of 2011 Dave teamed up with Mike Edwards, his good friend, neighbour, fellow father, fellow designer and his lovely wife Heidi. Together they worked out the best way to fully support the baby’s head and neck and safely protect the crown. The strength of the handles was of course paramount, too. In the months that followed they gathered a team of new parents to trial the prototypes and from those results the Snugglebundl baby-lifting baby wrap was finally born. They knew they had it right when the mums testing them refused to give them up! The unique baby lifting wrap was born - Snugglebundl .

The Snugglebundl works in a similar way to a hammock, pulling up around the baby to support the head, neck and spine and the padded hood carefully protects the babies crown but without covering the head.The extra strength support handles mean that you can safely and securely lift and place down the infant with just one hand and without the need to support the back of the neck whilst doing so, making stooping or bending un-necessary. The Snugglebundl has been fully safety tested and crash tested and is classed as a garment. This means you can use it on the go from home, into car seat, into pram, into shopping trolley and back home and as an on the go nap wrap. "How brilliant is this 'on the go' @snugglebundl? Perfect for traveling. Easily used to transfer a baby in or out of the car seat without disturbing the baby's sleep. It has a head rest that keeps the baby's head balanced. It can be used as a play mat, changing mat and a feeding cover. It is very comfortable to use. I am really enjoying using it."

"New mum essential! This is one of those baby must haves I wish I'd known about with my 1st!
Thanks to @snugglebundl gone are the days when I had to sit in the car when Evelyn finished napping 🤪
I basically first add the @snugglebundl into the car seat (it's all safe and tested!). Then if I need to transfer her asleep from car to pram, I simply undo the belt and lift her out by the handles. Simple.
There's a little hood and also a tie if your baby loves to be nice and snug then you can secure the handles for that extra comfort.
Some mama's use this also for breastfeeding!"
