Had a play with the embroidery needle and drew a noodle with the needle. Just to remember hiw to control it. Now to sew the orange onto the blue with the vintage fabric and the pink onto the blue! And perhaps do some more drawing on the faux leather because that is just so much fun!

I’ve not posted anything for a while because im agonising over some new designs. I think people don’t really know how much thought and time goes into one piece of work. When its something new. The thought process and all the mistakes you make until you get it right.
Then they see it and go, i could do that. Or why don’t you do this...

Now I have my embroidery foot I am going to appliqué the faux leather onto some bold vintage fabric prints. Getting my inspiration from 1960/70s psychedelic poster art.
I’d like to make larger pieces.

Just ordered some biodegradable plastic packaging for my handmade wares.

Grand opening at Tarmount-Studios Shoreham tomorrow April 12th! Looking forward to seeing all you lovely people! 🥳🎉🥳

This year I am going 🌍 friendly!
I want there to be something left for my childrens children. I already like to up-cycle old fabrics into new things. But I feel like that isn’t enough. So my handmade sewn wares won’t be in plastic packaging anymore. ❤️🌎❤️

I will be loading up items onto my website this month. So if you can’t make it down to Tarmount-Studios Shoreham you can purchase items from there.

Been making some more canvas psychedelic Frida purses, using faux leather and jumbo Pom-Pom trim. Lined with blue and purple vintage paisley cotton. These will be available to buy from Cissie Edna’s stall at the Emporium at Tarmount-Studios Shoreham from April 12th!

Yay my faux leather samples have arrived! Looking forward to making some nice coin purses with these later!
