Another amazing week, we are fully booked today for Carvery, Saturday 17th we a fully booked in the evening with limited Availability on Sunday 18th for our Christmas Jumper Carvery, open the box starting from £50 up for grabs and a Meat Draw. tickets will be on sale from Tuesday.

It's been nearly 1 month since we Re-opened the The Rose and Crown, what a great month it has been!!!! The support and feedback from you all, has been gratefully received. We have enjoyed getting to meet everyone and feel already we have gained some very special friends. This month has given us the chance to have a chat with customers and get a good feel of what the majority of you would like to see and happen. We as a team felt the Evening Menu needed tweaking so here it is. We have added more Main Dishes, with a Pub Classic feel, we will be running a Specials Menu alongside if you felt you would like a little treat. This week we have had a special delivery of fresh line caught Seabass, this will be wrapped in Streaky Bacon, served on a bed of Crushed New Potatoes, Lemon Butter Sauce and Fresh Mixed Vegetables, I have added the picture for you all to see. Lastly, we thought it was best that the children didn't feel left out so we have put together a simple but yummy Children's Menu, which includes a FREE Scoop of ice cream. Off to a great start for Christmas Celebrations, even included a Homemade Dairy Free Beef Wellington

Tomorrow evening we will be serving our Homemade Beef Burgers, Fish Burgers and Vegan Burgers from 6pm, looking forward to seeing you all for the ⚽️

We will be showing the football tomorrow evening in the skittle alley and snug area. £6.50 for a Burger and Fries, Bowl of chips £2.50 and Cheesy Chips £3

Overwhelmed by the response for our opening weekend, Saturday we have a couple of tables left, Sunday we are now Fully Booked….but don’t worry we will be open for Carvery again on Wednesday evening from 6pm. 🤤

Our Lunch Time and Evening Menus are now ready, we will also be running Weekly specials and offers to go alongside these menus that will change on a weekly basis. Our specials will be posted onto Facebook on a Monday and a copy will be put up on our Message Board in the Entrance to the pub. Our Christmas menu will also be available from tomorrow.

I would like to thank everyone who has supported me for the past 4 months with all the Carvery's, food theme nights & events I have done. Customers who have become dear friends and Archie who will no doubt be missed by all especially Paisley.
I received couple of leaving gifts and cards and I thank you for them. They will be cherished. I hope that who ever replaces me keeps up the work I have achieved over the months.
Thank you for accepting myself and Archie into your village and your lives.
The amount of calls and personal well wishes I have received has been over whelming. Thank you.

HM Queen Elizabeth's state funeral will be shown here at the Rose & Crown.
If you or you know of anyone who would like company on such a sad day please come along to the pub.
Pub doors will open at 10am, funeral starts 11am, Sandwiches and snacks, coffee & tea and bar drinks will be available.
