Underneath
I had a look inside your living room
You met your maker far to soon
I couldn't look inside I just turned around
Not been too long since you went underground
I still see your silhouette
I still see you
And in my mind you're still here with me
But they're just memories I still receive
I place your heart underneath my bed
Go back to sleep and see you in my head

First solo show done and dusted, what a night, it starts like any good night does, with insane levels of adrenaline and a feeling of nerves that could take down even the most seasoned pro. Luckily the adrenaline overrode the nervousness and let me pull the set off without too many mistakes, and to much of my surprise no forgotten lyrics!
In reality though I find shows are more of an excuse to get my friends and loved ones together in one place so we can all hang out and have a laugh, it's hard to get people in one room nowadays, the music is just a good excuse ;) big up the attendees and for hosting us, Tom has created a beautiful venue which really suits these intimate acoustic shows.
See you all at the next one π«Άπ½

George {demo}
I saw you fall apart woohoo
It started from the heart who knew
We never knew your pain, its true #
Inside your higher brain you stewed
I got a message from an old friend
He told us that you left us but didn't leave a thread
flicked through old photobooks of you
Getting stoned in your car to doom
We drank aboard a ship all night
But then I left for good, good bye
I got a message from an old friend
He told us that you left us but didn't leave a thread

Welcome to 'cmon', this project was pure catharsis for me, really. I hope you guys can find as much meaning as I did in this crazy jumble of words I'm putting out there.
My first track 'At the End' may sound sad or melancholic but really it's a celebration of coming to terms with losing someone very dear to me and realising that it's ok because I'll always see them at the end anyways. You always have time to tell those you care about that you love them ππ½
I'll be dropping some more songs over the next few months in the culmination to a full project coming out in autumn called 'Flowers For The Recently Loved' - all recorded to 4 track cassette and mastered direct from my dining room studio
