Do you know how to cut and shape your own hair at home? Comment “Video” and I will send you a detailed step by step video of how to cut your own hair at home confidently so you don’t end up in a scissors happy stylist’s chair 🙆🏽♀️. We don’t spend all this time and money on our hair just to get it chopped off and our wishes ignored 😭
I Love a dress code and I love even more after this event. The love and dedication she pours into natural hair is unmatched and it seeps through everything she does👏🏾. Check them out and get your hands on their hair products. Your hair will thank you for it. My fav will always be their protein defence which I’ve been using consistently since 2019 and rave about it to anyone who will listen 🫣.
Anyway let me know which look is your favourite.

I’m glad you guys love this style just as much as I do 💕. Please tag me when you recreate it. Also let me know if you want a tutorial showing how I did it with extensions for length and volume. The only thing I don’t like about this style is that I doesn’t keep my hair stretched as I’d like for obvious reasons so I only keep it in for a few days.
To moisturise my hair , I used the intensive moisture treatment and sealed my ends with my herbal butter. The moisture treatment is a deep conditioner that can also be used as a leave in conditioner but i mostly use it on wash days to skip deep conditioning and go straight to styling. Essentially combining both steps. Works a treat as I don’t have a lot of time these days. If you’re a busy mum and you’re not using 2 in 1 products I don’t know what to say to you 🥲. If you want to try them, you can use my discount code LIMITLESSBLOOM or use the link in my bio to get 15% off.
Also I didn’t have a lot of footage because I didn’t plan on filming this style. I just started filming towards the end when I realised it was coming together 😅. I enjoy doing my hair more when I’m not filming it 🫣
Still obsessed with this fluffy loose braids style I saw on a few months ago. First I tried it on blown out hair and it was painfully boneless 😭 (check linked reel). I tried it again on slightly stretched hair and loved it . However, I still wanted more volume and length so I cut up an old Afro wig I was gifted from and used it as added extensions and loved the results so much. Unfortunately I had to take it down within 3days as the extensions were irritating my scalp although I washed it before using😢. Anyway which result is your favourite?

7 years, 3 kids later and it jus makes me so emotional that we’ve built this beautiful life together. Thank you for being such and amazing husband and father. Truly when you’re around I get to relax lol because those kids show me so much shege when I’m on my own 🤣 but together we share the load so effortlessly and that’s why I’ll always be ready for baby number 4 when you are 🤭jokes please Lord no more 😅. Happy anniversary to us ❤️ 💍
Almost 6 years in and this will never not be funny to me. They really do run a strict program because where do you think you are going without them?🤭
This is just for laughs because I know it’s half term this week and you’re probably dealing with this every second of the day if you’re a mum. This is a little summary of what AI google says causes this behaviour and how I deal with it.
Key reasons for “Velcro” behaviour
- Safety & Security: Toddlers feel safe when they can see you; you are their anchor.
- Object Permanence: Around 8–18 months, they realize you exist even when out of sight, but they still feel safer confirming your location, leading to "checks" on you.
- Connection & "Samesies": At age 2, they connect by doing what you do, following you to feel close.
Curiosity: They are exploring, and you are the most interesting, safest thing to follow.
- Separation Anxiety: A peak phase for separation anxiety (10-18 months) drives them to stay close to avoid fear .
How I navigate through this season-
1- I make it into a game which turns it from annoying to fun for both of us. I leave the room just to hide round the corner knowing he will be right behind me so I make him jump and we all just laugh about it. I do this several times a day. It’s hilarious 🤣
2- I communicate and let them know where I’m going and that I will be back shortly. I always deliver on this promise by coming back every single time. This is especially important when you’re leaving the house. We never run off and lie to them that they can come along and sneak off whilst they’re still putting in their shoes. (Yes I’m still traumatised by my parents doing this to me 🤣🤣🤣). We explain where we are going, why we have to go and how long we are going to be gone for. We then Help them through the emotions by validating their feelings and then promising to spend time playing with them upon return or bringing them they’re fav treats.
3- Distract them with toys or an activity . This is great if you’re not going to begone for long.
How do you handle this behaviour?
My fav is definitely number 1 as it creates trust through play.
✨
What I wore to church last week as a mum of 3- in this season every outfit has to be comfortable and make sense because I know for a fact that I’m going to be running after one of my husbands kids 🤭😅
Do we like this look? I know it’s lowkey giving “see you in the office “🤣 but what can I say , you can take the girl out of corporate but you can’t take corporate out of the girl 🤭
