Bible engagement with oral learners in urban communities in the UK

Unlocking real life stories of urban people;
Revealing Good News of the Down to Earth Christ;
Releasing life changing skills and confidence. Unlock was founded in 1972 to address the scripture engagement needs of UK urban communities where people can read but generally don't. We opperate by running small scale short term enabling projects in UK cities sharing culturally appropriate ways of working with the Bible and enabling indigenous leadership.

Thank you so much to everyone who made the 43rd Unlock London Walk a great event. The weather was perfect, the route was delightful, and Unlock Walkers turned out in joyful droves. The Unlock London Walk Team do a fabulous job, year after year, putting together an interesting route and working out so many essential local details. The churches on the route generously open their doors and their hearts to our faithful Unlock walkers who turn out year after year with enthusiasm and generosity to make it all a success. I am always both thrilled and humbled by all that everyone contributes. And now, we need the money to roll in! Please send your sponsorship and donations to the Unlock Office or donate through our website - link in the comments. And if you want to start off the anticipation for next year, April 17th, 2027, watch the video link in the comments.

Alison has come from Monmouth in Wales to do the Walk. She is walking with the St Peter Ad Vincula group.
Think she is the person who has travelled the furthest so far.

Only three days to go until the 43rd Unlock London Walk on Saturday April 18th, this year we are in Kilburn and Hampstead. At the moment we have a typical April forecast of sunshine and showers; but the cherry blossom will be radiant regardless.πŸŒΈπŸšΆβ€β™€οΈβ€βž‘οΈπŸ‘©β€πŸ¦½β€βž‘οΈπŸšΆβ€βž‘οΈ
