It’s an introspective work, but at the same time it looks at the world outside – willing to bring a bright message of vitality and rebirth. 'Atrophy' is the first release in a planned series of three. Writing and recording another full-length album that would meet our high standards would take several years. The first steps into the real world are here. We are happy to inform you that today we can unveil the artwork and track listing of our upcoming 2nd full-length album, which will bear the name "The Night Sky". Scheduled Release Date: October 1st, 2021.

The album will hold 8 epic, diverse, dynamic and intense songs, that showcase the band's best and most mature work to date. An album beyond genre boundaries, an album made without disruptive influences from the outside world. We still like to call it Melancholic Metal, but we know this doesn't say much to some of you. We touch and absorb the intensions behind doom and gothic metal, as well as hints of atmospheric and post metal. But most of all, it sounds like Vetrar Draugurinn.

May 19 marks the remembrance of the Pontian Greek Genocide (1916 - 1923), one of the darkest moments in Greece’s history. Entire villages and cities were devastated.
By 1923, out of 700.000 Pontian Greeks who lived in Asia Minor, as many as 353.000 were killed and almost all the rest were forced to flee to neighbouring countries. This was the end of one of the ancient Greek civilizations in Asia Minor.
We will never forget…
This video is dedicated to all those who have been violently forced to flee their homes and countries.

Heavy/power metallers Scarlet Aura to reveal the title of their upcoming album “Genesis of Time” to be released on September 10th, 2021 via Universal Music Romania and Silver City Records.

Mixed, mastered and produced by Myke D at the Silver City Studio, the songs on “Genesis of Time” do not shy away from taking a risk and introducing unexpected turns, new musical atmospheres and landscapes. Continuing where the predecessor album “Stormbreaker” left off, “Genesis of Time” with its state-of-the art production, a touch softer but more powerful than ever vocals, hot and heavy riffs, thunder bass and drums on steroids brings the perfect and balanced ending to “The Book of Scarlet” trilogy.
