I’ve been competing for 5 years now, this was my final competition competing in the juniors as a 23 year old lifter. i have had many up & downs in powerlifting, mentally and physically - putting a lot of pressure on myself and going through self doubt but the sport will always have my heart. I fell in love with it when I started at 18 and I am so grateful for powerlifting, it’s given me my business , it’s been there for me when I’ve had my lowest of lows and picked me back up, it’s reminded me of my inner strength and it’s brought out my confidence and bravery.
But this competition meant so much more to me than just numbers. It wasn’t about a placement or ranking , it wasn’t about the medal or the instagram pics. What it’s about was me proving to myself that I could come back stronger after injury and even more so showing up for myself at every training session for 5 years in a row , the dedication of going through nutritionists, coaching, physio, recovery daily life patterns to get me standing on this platform here in time.
This sport has got extremely popular in recent years which is fantastic and the sport is getting very competitive very quickly so it’s to be hard on yourself but at the end of the day what I’ve learnt is it’s so much more important to be grateful to even be here on the platform. To be in a healthy physical position to compete. To be amongst some of the greatest lifters in Britain.
So thank you powerlifting, thank you to my amazing coach who has got me through some of my biggest mental hurdles for the past 2 years and got me back stronger than ever before.
Thank you to all the spotters, loaders, refs everyone’s who got involved to give us athletes this incredible platform to compete on.
This feels like it’s just the beginning for me, starting in the open category now.
I cannot wait to see what’s to come.

This isn’t about looking “perfect.”
It’s about feeling strong.
Feeling capable.
Feeling confident in your own body.
I eat like this. I train like this.
Because I love it.
And I want more women to feel empowered
by what their bodies can do.
Powerlifting allowed me to find that inner confidence and I want you to find that too.
